This drama was good. The leads were refreshing and I really enjoyed their chemistry. They also have a good ending! That's rare in Mini dramas for some reason.

Title Her Disguise
It's a show where the ML is very compelling and interesting, and the FL WOULD be more interesting if they let her act more. There were a lot of times when I lots the plot a little bit though. Despite all of that, they could have saved the whole thing if it had had a satisfying ending.
On The Unexpected Marriage Aug 13, 2024
I think maybe the first 5-6 episodes were fine, like we were building to something, but after that there was zero plot tension in the story. Very few obstacles to overcome, no reason the story couldn't have ended earlier. I actually think it would have been good if it were limited to 8 episodes. As it was, 20 was too many, and I never felt that "omg what happens next?!".
On Love You Seven Times Sep 16, 2023
I've never cared for the FL's acting in other dramas, so I hesitated to start this. I only gave it a shot because the ML has rocked most of his other roles. I'm glad I did! Either she's been badly directed in the past or she's taken acting lessons, because I actually really enjoyed the two of them together. Lots of laughs, badass moments, and chemistry! Each life was connected but had a twist, which meant I got to live through a lot of drama tropes I genuinely enjoyed all in one drama and have it actually make sense. Definitely give it a try! Watch through the first human life they have together and you'll be hooked.

I have literally lost count of how many times I've said "oy vey" while watching this, but in the best sense possible. They're poking fun at themselves and at their genre, and it's obvious. It's so funny! I like how the FL is really flexible in her acting. I saw her in Familiar Stranger, which was a lot more serious than this, but she's good! And the ML is not a little swoonworthy.

I liked the main couple, but the drama didn't really give us a flirty/I like you phase at all in any of their couplings. It just...existed suddenly. And WHY ON EARTH was he not more bothered by the idea of killing her? Or even just separating from her? I agree with another commenter in that it feels like they took bits of a bunch of other dramas and stuck them together here. Plus 29 and 30 were absolutely unbearable to watch.

This is surprisingly good. I don't give short dramas enough credit, but they do SO MUCH in a 15 minute time span but without it feeling choppy. I'm sure they don't have a very high budget overall but I've seen productions of way worse quality. The chemistry zings and both characters are compelling. Even poor Madam Du makes you sympathetic.

I went in sort of meh about it all, but what a surprise! Great acting, interesting world, and I love the production design. I think the two are great together and I look forward to the rest of the series.
On The Starry Love Feb 26, 2023
This drama is really doing it for me. Not only is it laugh-out-loud funny (which I appreciate from an immortal drama, they're always so damn serious), but it's well written. Our main hero is the only serious one out there and this dude has serious social anxiety. Our main heroine is actually the perfect foil for him and I love that we know that but he's just acting like a hunted animal. Our second leads are great too--even the demons get to be funny and complex. Even the side characters are complex! They get to have their own emotions and wants and needs. At the moment I wondered why Qing Kui wouldn't say who she was, our second lead rocks up and tells her how dangerous and vicious they all are so HINT HINT KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT. They don't leave many if any plot holes open, and I never know how things are going to go even if I have an overall sense of the plot.
On Song of the Moon Dec 16, 2022
I'm actually really liking this. I don't care if the same tropes pop up now and again; they're popular for a reason. I like that she's inexperienced but not completely dumb. He's cheeky and a little bit of a money grubber, and I just like that they like each other. When he smiles every time he sees her....le sigh
On Koi to Dangan Dec 15, 2022
Okay, this drama is pretty much Manic Pixie Dream Yakuza. I'm not all for blood and guts or anything, so that's relatively fine, but you really have to turn your brain off. The FL has a noticeable lack of personhood after the first episode.--we know her name, she used to play basketball, and she's in college. Studying what? Don't know. What does she want out of life outside of the relationship? No idea. And really, a lot of stuff happens TO the couple but not between them. They aren't working toward anything (like...getting married? Coming clean to her family? Anything at all?). Everything is in the moment and so you sort of watch without real engagement. It has its time and place; you just need to know what you're getting into when you start.

I actually get frustrated with bad English subtitles but this one is sooooooo funny I can't stopped watching 😂😂😂😂😂
Same here. It deserves much better subtitles, but the story is interesting enough and the chemistry on fire enough to keep me doing the mental gymnastics necessary and keep watching!

You did not understand the story right? Female main lead was the Dragon King's savior, in order to repay her kindness…
Sure, I got that part. But I never understood why he had to marry her. That made no sense to me.
