"she wasnt noticed"... so werent 100s of other ppl. thats doesnt make someone racist. as a black woman myself, not EVERYTHING is racist and minute things like this take away from REAL issues... was it rude? dismissive? maybe... oh well, thats life. ur not entitled to someone attention just because you want it ...
really good series. HOWEVER, I did have a few issues:
1. the chemistry between the leads was a little mid, but its wasnt the focal part of the story so not the biggest deal 2. the FL completely went from main to secondary character energy...at a point she was just regurgitating information for exposition. lol 3. The princess was VERY irritating and I hate how we're suppose to care about her just because she's the MLs sister... she's an immature brat who CONTINUOUSLY made bad decisions, and then couldn't handle the consequences.. boo-hoo 4. rushed ending
all in all, defintely still worth the watch! 8.25/10!
the first half was so beautifully done imo, but the 2nd half was a "nothing sandwich".... conflict and misunderstanding for the sake of it, plus the FL became VERY unlikable... her behavior just didnt make sense and I didnt understand what was keeping them gravitating to each other. I was tired of both of them by the end of it. disappointing
they didnt really address some keys point towards the end of the movie? still a good watch, but i think a short series would have worked better (6 eps)
The first 4 episodes were really compelling, though I did question the logic behind some of the decisions. After that, the show became unrealistic. the change in charcter arcs, events that became too convenient and clues that just fell into people's laps.
I think it would have been better as a simple revenge/empowerment story... too much going on, towards to end i became disengaged
10/10 Highly recommended!2 episodes in and i must say, i consider this drama as one of the best kdramas of 2021.…
I mostly agree… but 10/10 and “must watch” after only 2 episodes? feels veryyyyy exaggerated 😅 A lot of kdramas start strong, so it feels a little premature for such a recommendation. at least make it half way lol
looks good! but pls if its a BL, let it be a BL, if its a complex platonic relationship, let it be that too... and lets stop sexualising everything for individual gratification. its weird
6.9... oh no. I started watching while it was airing and I really enjoyed the first 4 episodes... 5/6 were just okay, but I still have the last 4 to go, I guess it doesnt get better 😩
This drama is exactly why I love K-dramas - raw, unrushed, and emotionally driven without relying on physical storytelling. My favourite of 2026 so far :)
Also, the secondary characters were so well written - not just filler. I was just as invested in them as the main couple. Bravo! 👏
