I think like most people, if I see a drama in the 7s, I start wondering if it’s even worth watching (or just put it on the back burner). If a lot of people do this, it can affect a show’s performance. So talking about ratings early feels more helpful than going into details, doesn't mean its fangirling etc
I get cautious with detailed comments anyway, since I’ve been burnt by unintentional spoilers, rating talk feels safer. I did say I liked the pacing and chemistry earlier, so hope that continues. but yeah, each to their own, some like oranges, some like pears. 😊

thank God i watched the first 2 episodes before looking on MDL. I thought 8 was wild this morning, but 7.5 is crazyyyy. it makes me wonder who’s even watching vs just voting 🙄. MDL really need to fix that system. I’m waiting till it finishes to rate it, hope others are too so the final score actually shows the drama’s real quality.
doesn't deserve a 7.2 rating, requires a certain amount of life experience to appreciate fully. acting was superb…
I dont see why life experience needs to be a factor here - i have a fair bit - BUT any good show should be able to pull you into the story whether you've lived it or not... we dont need to be on a sinking ship to understand the trauma of the Titanic. for me its a 6.5 🤷♀️ and quite unrealistic imo.
for me, the show mostly lost its spark towards the end...I also disliked most of the secondary characters and the constant self deprecation of the FML...

first 6 episodes were intersting but for me it tapered after that and I found myself bored... scenes were unnecessarily long and romance was a little juvenile imo. I felt like this would have been better as a shorter drama rather than drawwwwwwwn out to fit a quota. on episode 31 and likely to drop.

also, imo the romance was tainted with all the confusion and overall the chemistry was lackinggg for the final couple. in the end it was just okay
