They way ZLH goes from 😠 to 🥺 makes me melt coz he looks like a lost puppy who needs to be picked up and petted 😭😭😭 I just wanna put him in my pocket gaaaaahhhh!

My pfp is from MJTY. It's probably my most fave of his historicals. Storyline isn't much but the wuxia action is good. And ZLH's looks is ethereal~ TPR has a good storyline but it's somehow butchered by the higher ups 😅

I've watched every drama of ZLH's except for Sparkle Love coz I find that drama a little too cringe for me😅 Maybe I'll save it for next year since ZLH's stock dramas have run out. (He just completed The Best Thing and is currently filming Our Generation). I love Flourish in Time, it's currently my fave modern drama of his. Have you watched My Journey to You and Story of Kunning Palace? If you haven't, go watch those first coz his acting in SOKP is good whereas his beauty is enhanced in MJTY🤭

Expectation Ji Yang 2.0 - Evil, blood thirsty, murderous intent

Reality Ji Yang 2.0 - Lonely, sweetest, giant babie who just wants to be loved. Petty towards a certain fox

You can try Legend of Shenli and Love & Redemption. These two xianxia have happy endings. However, L&R has alot of miscommunication and angst and it'll probably test your patience, whereas LoSL is more of a relaxing watch.

Good news about ZLH's dramas is that his character always survived (with the exception of FSMM1) so I'm hoping that they'll continue this streak of him being alive at the end😆

ZLH is the main reason I'm watching this and I've anticipated this drama more than TPR coz I'm a fan of xianxia/xuanhuan. But because I've been seeing this "trend" of sad endings the past couple of years hence why I'm bracing myself. I might be totally wrong with this speculation but it's just to "safeguard" my heart 😅

I'm lapping up all the romantic scenes coz I have a terrible feeling this would not end well😩 I don't wanna be pessimistic but I've watched too many xianxia with such tragic endings😣

There should be more coz there are photoshoots of him wearing another black and red outfit with the demon lord's hairstyle 🥵🪭

I am preparing myself for that kind of ending because tbh, there are so many xianxia/historicals which started off as light hearted and comical, only to end up tragic🙃 However, I did notice that ZLH's characters never did once die in his dramas so I do hope he'll continue this streak😆
