I think you might have mistaken this drama for a wuxia. While both genre rely heavily on wire play, xianxia has more spell casting and cgi compared to wuxia. Wuxia has more sword fights. I'm behaving exactly like Mu Zhanting coz ZLH is insanely gorgeous in this drama, I can't concentrate much🙈 This is the most beautiful I've seen him in, besides MJTY.

Looks aside, I'm actually enjoying this! Probably because I'm a xianxia fan and I love seeing weiya. Been waiting for this drama more than TPR coz I prefer magical stuff more😆

ZLH's dramas tend to have him being underwater for real😅 You can check MJTY for a longer underwater scene. TPR had him dunking his body in filthy water at Hengdian studios for a particular scene. I'd guess all crew who worked with him wants to see him... wet😂
