I'm trying to watch as many dramas and movies for this week and the next coz I'm starting work at the end of the month. I'm currently a stay-at-home mom, hence I have the luxury of watching dramas like an obachan, hahahaha!

I've finished the first episodes of both 'Samurai High School' and 'Gokusen', but I think I'll be proceeding with 'Gokusen' first coz SHS made me cringe and facepalm so many times, hahahaha! It's really corny and I think I almost died of embarrassment for Hamu-chan coz of his role. You can try watching it and let me know what you think?

'Rookies' has almost the same plot as 'Gokusen', seeing that the new teacher straighten out the delinquents. And the teacher has a flair for violence (in one way or another) and is very stubborn. THE PLOT IS THE SAME, OMG.

(Gokusen 2 has both Kame and Akanishi so that may be why the popularity of the second season is pretty high. *winks*)

I'm weird in the sense that I prefer to watch backdated dramas rather than current ones coz I can't stand to wait every week for just one episode, lol!

Believe it or not, 'Rookies' is actually great! I thought I would not enjoy it since it's a sports themed drama, but I was wrong. I finally finished it yesterday and have continued with 'Samurai High School' and 'Gokusen'.

I'm a sucker for high school drama, be it romance, comedy or action. I think most of the dramas I've watched centre around high school students. :D

Yup, yup! I saw that we share an interest in Sato Takeru (KYAA!) and Mizushima Hiro. Also, I assume that you prefer Japanese dramas to Korean ones as I creep on your drama list, heh...

As for 'Last Cinderella', I don't think I'll be watching that. I can't take Hamu's character, lol! I know it was hot and all (naked butt scene!), but I prefer watching high school romances, despite my old age, haha!

That's great! I haven't watched R&J yet coz I was sidetracked with dramas, haha! I don't think anyone subbed the butai coz the one I have is also unsubbed.

So I'm watching 'Samurai High School' as per requested. Halfway through first episode and I'm already cringing, omg.

By the way, the girl who played the best friend is the same person who played Bella in 'Yokai Ningen Bem', whereas the person who played the father is that Owner guy from 'Kamen Rider Den-O', lol! It's kinda funny to see recurring actors!

Yes. KR is cringeworthy, but it's so addictive! Besides, you get to see Take-chan in every episode, which is a bonus! For me, that is, lol!

And I promised my friend to watch 'Samurai High School' so that we can cringe together, but I haven't finish 'Rookies' yet, gaaaahhh...

Most of my friends aren't fans of Japanese dramas, but some of them are into anime, so I can at least relate to that. I'm thankful that my husband is a comic book geek and an anime fan as well, so both of us can exchange views on certain stuff. He knows about my fangirl habits (I've been drooling over Takeru these past few months, lol!) and I'm glad he can take it.

Yes, I did watch 'Cartoon KAT-TUN'! I know I didn't watch every single episode of it, but I LOVE their variety programmes! Never fail to make me laugh til my stomach hurts! XD

Like what I've mentioned before, I'm a closet KAT-TUN fan. That means, I don't exactly declare openly that I'm their fan, lol. I simply like Kamenashi and his, erm, sexual tendencies, haha!

As for Kamenashi, I wasn't a fan of him nor KAT-TUN coz I thought they were a bunch of guys who tried too hard to be like Arashi. When I first saw Kame in 'Nobuta wo Produce', I thought he looked like some kind of anorexic kid! Add to the fact that his eyebrows were really highly-arched, I was a little put off by him. But the more I watched his dramas, the more I was fascinated by him and I'd guess I'm a closet KAT-TUN now. *teehee* He's just an epitome of walking sex, I'd guess... *___*

I actually like it when my conversations are long, coz I tend to ramble a lot as well, lol!

I started going crazy for the J-fandom in 2008, after watching Hana Kimi and being infatuated with Toma Ikuta coz of his Nakatsu character. After that, I started "stalking" his dramas. He did 'Maou' with Ohno Satoshi of Arashi. I got hooked onto Arashi coz of 'Maou' and one thing leads to another, so the rest is history.

However, I've been an anime fan since I was in my teenage years (I'm 29 this year). I remembered watching 'Samurai X' and 'Cardcaptor Sakura' back when I was around 13/14. I was infatuated with Kenshin and I thought the whole anime was really pretty. But honestly speaking, my very first anime was 'Sailor Moon' coz I remembered my group of friends and myself each took on a role of one of the characters (I was Sailor Jupiter)! I was in primary school, for God's sake, haha!

I'm not exactly a really huge fan of Kame, since I haven't watch all of his dramas yet and I know nothing much of him. But I absolutely LOVE him in 'One Pound Gospel' as that's my favourite Kame drama to date. :D I'm a HUGE fan of Sato Takeru although I only just recently got into his dramas and movies.

How long have you been in the J-fandom? And cool, you aren't big on K-fandom either, like me!
