Murong Yao's father is actually the most sensible parent in this whole show. he doesn't want his son to lose his way and that the path that he's taking he knows that he'll end up losing him if he carries out his plan

i hope FSG changes his mind about ascending the throne, he may not want to bear the responsibilities but i think he'll actually be a great ruler. he's always shown characteristics of a great emperor who actually cares about his people.

the princess is a prime example of a male centered woman and that's why her character enrages me so much, those type of women are actually insufferable.

i didn't reach that scene yet LOL. i agree as a man he shouldn't have slapped her HOWEVER, if it had to reach to that point for her to get a damn wake up call then so be it. it's unfortunate it had to get to that point just for her to see that he doesn't care at all about her wellbeing. but keep in mind she's been sexually harassing him with unclothing herself infront of him and try to strip him multiple times even when he's said no. saying no multiple times hasn't stopped her, so a slap might've been necessary honestly.

she's been given too much screentime. if they're going to keep showing her more and giving us more scenes with no type of character development whatsoever i'm just going to skip because it's actually irritating.

went from complaining about the 2 episodes to being okay with it because i don’t want it to end anytime soon

i will never get over this casting for FSG. my favorite male lead in a cdrama this year honestly. he’s still as cunning and devilishly handsome as ever
