We saw that scholar Yuan was clearly irritated by clueless Lou Yao & Shaoshang. 🤣 (the lovey dovey of CSS and LY is like grenade bomb attack that could kill those three single guys)

Nobody thought that Yuan harbored feelings for CSS. because of his celibacy lifestyle. I was stunned that he even visualized Mr. Huangfu's love story by picturing him and Shaoshang in red dress. 🤣
Actually Yuan already had enough with his master's unrequited love story. He himself will soon follow his master's step.

Don't you all notice that Bai Jing Ting is like Cheng Yi's long lost twin brother?
I also saw a glimpse of Huang Junjie and Li Hongyi on Cheng Yi's face.

I wanna see so bad Cheng Yi and Lushi together, in the future. But, I'm looking forward to see Lushi and Jing Ting in the same project too. They are must be adorable.

ep 15...so far the most hilarious episode.
I couldn't stop laughing my ass off as Shaoshang, Lou Yao, Bu Yi and Scholar Yuan met coincidentally at the hut.
Scholar Yuan and Bu Yi by all means tried to separate Shaoshang and Lou Yao.
Mr. Huangfu was so immersed in himself that he couldn't see the tension among the young guys around him.

that's not fair for them after all those misunderstanding and hardships.

I have jumped to the last ep .....and the ending kinda weird.
Zhai Xing was (predictably) defeated by enemy as she went the battle by herself. Totally suicide.
And then You Wen (after being drugged) came to rescue thus fought the enemy by himself, and he won it.
Had they been together fought the enemy.. maybe in the end they would be still together alive. Or even if they were defeated, they could faced death together. That would be satisfying ending for both parties.

you mean, in the end they are separated by death?

It was on my TV back then. Why the hell they make such story like this.. make people gonna mad.

I wonder why I watched this back then. maybe because Ha Ji Won? because I don't really like gisaeng theme drama. And it is kinda tragedy drama. Like, you can't escape the devil's chain.

I think you'll be disappointed if you seek romance in this makjang drama.

Sadly in any culture (especially China), a son is highly prized than a daughter. XYY unconsciously picks a male twin and left the female twin of hers*. Unfortunately her mother in laws not favors any female descendants (XYY should have known about this). She doesn't even spoils Yang Yang who has better attitude towards elder. Instead she pushes Yang Yang's mother to have sons.


*like in movie Aftershock (2010) where the mother decide to save her son instead of her daughter in the earthquake. Both son and daughter have 50:50 chance of survival after getting buried in ruins.

Gosh....people like Lou Yao cannot act selfish. I am glad he gets to marry hex ex fiancee. Too bad her family get entangled with rebels.

I am stuck at 6th eps...hard to continue...why I feel this one is boring? Yecheng and Yukee failed to tame me to keep watching.........

there is no point on making season 2 if the original FL and ML are not there.. :(

I guess at some point, writer in dramaland was considering having a sequel story for every work they wrote. But many factors decide whether there will be a sequel or not.
I think due to high rating and enthusiasm, they push to make a sequel.

yeah I want to see GYJ too, she has potential.
