This is interesting dorama...I recommended it. You will probably have a love-hate with this drama. I dislike Makoto. I wish Yoko has a more elaborate love line.
I didn't manage to finish Unubore....I love Nagase's acting...but there is something off in the drama. Meanwhile...I watched Konkatsu Deka till the end and it became my fav. dorama. I watched it several times, it's my go to dorama if I wanna watching something fun.

yeah, maybe. for cost saving. I think the majority of casts itself is not on A-lister list even though they are already well known. I mean, their payment doesn't really cost a fortune.
so far...maybe this is my 2022 K-Drama. It has all the quality and quantity of great plot, romance, comedy, good casts, cinematography. It's a well written drama.
I feel sorry for the former cast that supposed to be FL (I wish she gets another great project). But JSM is perfect for this role. this is the 2nd time (afaik) rookie actress that had been casted as FL got kicked out due to 'the rookiness'. If they are not worth for a heavily invested drama, why the company bother conducting an open audition which rookies can attend?

I wish it only 24-30 eps haha...but high budget drama tend to have more than 30 eps. actually, the first 4 eps is kinda dragged to introduce Shao Shang and her family. if it Kdrama, they will do it in 1 ep

why i feel that shao shang has seen through it all. i mean , she is expected to get a severe punishment from her mother to the point that she will be kicked out from their mansion. and shao shang will gladly follow her aunt and uncle since they are expected to go back to their hometown in near future. or clinging on to her father to a military post. shao shang is no longer wish to stay further in her mansion being reprimanded by her mum everytime. she also want to explore the vast world out there.

I think he is a tsundere ML with some traumatized dark past. I heard they mentioned 'revenge' for several times. I think FL is there to help ML , so he will not 'blackened' (being a villain that has no turning point). IDK I don't read the novel XD

this is not a heavy slice of life movie. it's light heartwarming movie and fun to watch.
