I eventually watched the raws because can't wait for the engsub comes...even though I don't understand Thai language 😁. But you wont get any problem for understanding the plot right? If it for an avid lakorn fan. 😁 I can say this is a 1st wife vs mistress / 2nd wife drama troupe. Kinda extreme for modern days because it affects many people entangled with this laten problem. Like, how can Manee's parents disdained Kasa and decided to engage her daughter with Chayut instead? They're basically from the same parentage, same house, same surname, good manner, good looking and have promising future. They only born from different mother. From early episodes, I can see that, Manee, Kasa, Chayut and Chonpasa were in the wrong time meeting the right person. But from the poster, I can expect that Kasa and Chon will end up together. Sometimes I pity Manee that can't be with Kasa but sometimes I hate her for being possessive with her exBF. While still lingering around Kasa, she also want to control her future husband. Chaiyut is a copy paste of his father. He still want to marry Manee but also want to retain relationship with Chon, the mother of his kid. If this craziness continue, Chon will end up as a mistress.
But she's only older by 3 years, no biggie. Besides, she looks petite next to him, hahaha. And he has a mature…
Seungho and Jingoo, I watched them too. From child actor to more mature actor. J-actor who got adult roles? I think this one will do as example...https://kisskh.at/10-taisetsu-na-koto-wa-subete-kimi-ga-oshiete-kureta . Miura played a high school teacher who soon to be married. He was 21 yrs back then. (normally in Asian education system, in early 20's you gotta be a university student, not even graduated yet.) Whereas in 2010 or 2009 and backward he still played high schooler roles. I can added Kazuya Kamenashi too in Gokusen series who came back to his almamater as math teacher years after graduated. Ok, it's not notable though. lol.
Maybe all of this due to scouting system in Japan? The agency will hunt for (young) new talents on the street. Like, you can see them everywhere in public space. Meanwhile in other countries, for getting roles in drama or movie, you need to be more prepared. Like, join the management artist first, join the role casting whenever and as many as possible, became extras and get minor roles. Or, search a connection to showbiz insider. In China, there are tons of school/diploma/bachelor of drama/acting. Those who want to work in showbiz, can enroll to those department/major first. Talent agency or casting agency from company usually will come for students or invite them to a casting.
This is a kind of melodrama right? or slice of life? This is so Thai! Actually the casts are so good with their acting. The plot also well written. I watched this for a few eps. and decided this was not my cup of tea.
I suddenly miss my college friends....😭
