But she's only older by 3 years, no biggie. Besides, she looks petite next to him, hahaha. And he has a mature…
Yeahh..I dunno why in KDrama and Dorama we can see clearly its disparity who is older or younger than in C drama. And in Dorama, they tend to cast young/teenager actors to act in teenage/adolescent role. So as years go by, we can see the development (career and age) of the actors. Like I was growing watching HYD and Hanakimi and now I am watching them in maturity phase. Some of the actors already settled down, continuing career, retired or even commited suicide. :(
I cannot see often those development in another dramalands.
Actually, young Japanese actors also sometimes got adult wise roles or act out of their real age. But I guess it is only for talented actor.

I think it's a good thai drama remake. FL and ML have good chemistry. I dropped it halfway, because I already know the whole plot and ending. I have watched the old Rahut Rissaya years ago, anyway.

For those who complained about the second half of this drama....I guess either they changed the director or the writer. Changing the writer means there will be a major change on the script. changing director means there will be change of direction. It's not rare practices in Kdramaland. There must be some reasons for it.
You know, established Kdrama director or writer, often idealistic and have personal ethic. They can shout the disagreement on something they don't wanna do or against their thought.

The young actors age often shocked me because they can pull their acting skills, playing roles that typically adult man, wise, reliable, etc. (Turbo Liu, Zhaolin, Leo Wu, Junjie etc)
I don't really mind too about the age gap between FL and ML that sometimes make them like 'noona romance'. I only shocked that Chinese actress often possessed such a baby face.
Btw I like the pairing noona Liangjie and Zhaolin, their chemistry is always good. Zhaolin seemed to treat her like a big sister.

she is muslim??
OK. Also, Uyghur people or Hui are like muslim in any secular countries, you will find some are devoted or extremely devoted while the rests aren't. Government and other religious people don't really pay much attention to it because being in any religion is human rights.
Only in China the government coerce Uyghur to assimilate with Han culture., in bad way. They push Uyghur people doing things that are prohibited in their religion. It hurts Uyghur human rights. I assume that the government don't understand the principle of monotheism, or they don't really care. As long as Uyghur behave like Han people, then, case closed. Look at Hui muslim, we don't really hear much about them.

Every hairstyles depict the certain era or ruler. Many Kdramas was set in Joseon era, the men of that era mostly…
I also think climate and local weather influence the hairstyle. In ancient middle east people don't mind to have long hair. Men can have shorter hair but not like modern short hair. The thick hair help them to prevent the heatstroke. When it comes to fashion and beauty, I think this is unique yet weird: ancient / old Kaukasian women in North Caucasus tend to have curly hair like afro style. They call it beauty.
In South East Asia, women and men can't really let their hair down freely. In tropical climate where hot temperature occupies for almost the whole year, you don't want to have sticky sweaty hair. So they tidy their hair neatly.
I forgot how Asian men change the hairstyle to more shorter look. I guess it since the European came to Asia? Or even earlier than that? Japanese and Chinese men started to have short hair since they received western education.
I understand why they don't really like having long hair, come on, long hair need an extra care. Men usually don't like complicated thing as routine hair treatment the way women do. Also metrosexual men who care a lot about physical appearance don't prefer to have long hair.

Wow, I have just know it. In ancient south asia, Both women and men possess long hairs. Whether it nobleman or peasant. They hardly -or never- cut it short. They just trim it a bit to make it neat. It is shameful for women to have very short hair. (so, we can find the old social punishment for women who have done great shameful / immoral think is...shaving their head and show it to the public.) Having (black) healthy long hair is very desirable for women. Only rich and noble ancient women can afford those hair treatment, I guess? It's not that average women y cannot take care of their hair appearance. They do have a way. But they don't have much time and money. They invest so much of their time to make ends meet. That is way...from time to time, noble women often have good appearance from head to toe.

Was this made in 1999?? Nobody can convince me this was made in 2019/2020.Also nothing happens, it's just ppl…
It is definitely a 2020 drama. I can tell it. I dropped this one halfway through. Japanese drama tend to have more conversation than other dramas (this is subjective though). I can bear with it. But yeah..I can't stand the low standard in every aspect *crying*. Even Hayato Ichihara an other veteran actors cannot save the day! Low budget special / one shot drama is the worst.

Japanese entertainment companies don't invest much into live-action productions. I don't understand why.
It's depend on the market. Maybe dorama doesn't really sell in their own home country. Look at the population of Japan. But I guess Japan live action movie is the best. They sold the movies to foreign countries. Whereas in China with the highest level of population in the world, the producers have bigger chance to make money with regular drama on tv and rapid web streaming sites. Like SK, China also in a race for selling media content to the world. Their goal is to become the leading in content industry. I noticed that Chinal also have grade B (low cost drama) and A (high budget) or even C! (mini short drama). In low cost live action drama, they usually use the same filming set with different angles. Using new comer or aspirant actors that are paid lower. Won't really use CGI or less CGI or use CGI with horrible editing. Luck will be on their side if the plotline is interesting which gain more viewer. Meanwhile, in high budget drama, they usually build a new filming set, making fancy costumes, sophisticated scenes, good and believable CGI. Many people were involved than in low budget drama.

idk if she's losing popularity or not bcs she's only been getting guest or supporting roles since 2020, hope she…
I thought the same....how can she plunged into guest or supporting roles after massive success as main role in Itazura na Kiss. On the top of that, She changed her stage name. I can't help but think that there must be something happened between her and her management artist. Things that had happened on Nounen Rena. The last time I saw her in main role is on 2014. Back then she was a young rising actress. Because she is simply very adorable!

I think Japan is the epitome when it comes to make unsual, weird, ugly, unpleasant etc plotSometimes we like it…
Yes..I agree... most of the time, Thai soap opera is bad. They air such abusive, misogyny storyline in their prime time show. IDK why? Because it seems contrast with their daily life? I mean I had heard many stories about interaction with Thai people. They're usually kind, friendly, helpful and reserved like typically east asian. But their soap opera says otherwise.
And what I was pointing before was..in Japan we would find the most unlikely plot...that people in other countries probably wouldn't think of it. Maybe it's because unlimited creativity or unique culture or liberty in expression.
So, as example, many storylines in Japanese movie/dorama/anime is hard to find in my country's shows. Because sometimes it's hard to accept and not relatable in our life. As for abusive kidnap, rape, and aggressive in Thai opera soap, such vulgar plotlines will never get aired in our cinemas and tv. There will be a lot of criticism from citizens and censor from government. I remember once there was a local movie with vulgar lines and an opera soap with a real kiss scene that received a lot of criticism and became national sensation.
I respect every culture outside me. I'm neutral. I guess it's blessing that every country has unique culture that sometimes is portrayed on the screen.
