I mean, she had job contracts already. She carried the huge burden alone after her agency abruptly terminated her contract. It's safe to say that her former agency just cut the ties with her rather than helped her going through the dark age. So, since no one hired her in showbiz after DUI scandal, she did everything (doing part time) to raise money to pay her debt.

This trend also torments the OTT subcribers. Like, if they are fond of two or three costume dramas airing together on different OTT, it will cost a lot to subscribe VIP/premium service to 3 different OTTs. LOL

hahaha. It is because I had seen other runaway brides in C costume drama change their wedding attire with commoner dress on the way. They planned it through. Some may disguised themselves with men's costume.

Actually, there are many C dramas out there about poor nobles living in frugality. They still retain a decent mansion above average with one or two servants. Rarely socialize with other upper class due to social and economic inequality. Hard to retain a hedonistic lifestyle otherwise they will go bankrupt. I.E Lou Yao's main family from LLTG. Poor by design because his brother cannot secure an official post to advance his career due to a scheming uncle. Thus they don't have reliable income. Other extremely poor noble, living in a humble abode, living day by day, but still accompanied by a loyal servant. I.E Tantai Jin and his maidservant in his kingdom while he was an unfavored son of the king......the difference between poor noble and commoner, is having the servant around.....and those noble's demeanor is different than commoner.

I can't complain much about her character. From ep 1 to 7, it's understandable to be like that. She is cunning yet she is helpless. The only hopes for her is seeking help from other (powerful) relatives. I don't see she has business acumen like Dou Zhao in Blossom. She doesn't really plotting with other women in Lu mansion too. Her only purpose is hunting matrilocal husband to seize back her inheritance. ...........maybe all of these is because the drama is made to be a light hearted drama, less angsty.

I don't think so. He pretends to be a playboy and hanging around in brothels. But he isn't fooling around with any woman. He gathers intel in brothels. And Ms. Luo Ling Yu is the only woman he is messing with.

Yes......she is so adorable. She used to be stiff in acting but after some experiences her expression became richer than before.
