yup that was the latest douyin update it was i think after her fight with the dark magic cultivator evil senior of the ML.. after that 2nd ml might manipulate her more as she's very heartbroken that he chose them instead of her..

yes.. too much unnecessary plotline.. they should have focus more on their kinda forbidden love right.. (novel honestly doesn't have any of this, lol.. in the novel the ML already left the sect before he met her I think and also he doesn't hate demons and he's very much aware that the city is rules by two demons and he's not gonna interfere on it whatsoever)

it was actually okay on the first half until they decided to up the level of 2nd ML obsession to FL. now its just too frustrating to watch specially on the upcoming episodes where he's probably gonna manipulate her more into thinking badly about ML after ML broke her trust..

they really wanted drama so bad but honestly like I said having them in the opposite side (kinda making a forbidden love affair) is already enough drama for me.. they should have focus more on that than bringing another obsessed 2nd ml in the plot.. 😅

right, I was hoping they didn't go through with that plotline but they still did.. they were doing so well on the first half then decided to focus more on this absurd obsession of 2nd ml to the fl.. i still love the drama yes cause i love the main leads but seriously they wasted such potential to just insert that useless plotline.. (I also kinda read the novel so double kill)
