Haven’t decided my thoughts on the episode yet, but did anyone else think of We Got Married days of Taemin and Son Na Eun seeing her onscreen with Min Ho? :)

I can’t speak for the overall show because I haven’t kept up with the storyline but there are some really good romance moments in the later episodes.

You described my thoughts exactly. It is beautifully filmed and the actors are amazing, but other than that, this drama is incredibly basic at best in my opinion. The potential that this show could have been is evident in the ending scenes of the episodes where these two actors are allowed to shine.

When he was on the variety show We Got Married, they filmed a costume drama scene and he loved speaking in Joseon-era honorifics so I am sooo happy that he got this role! It was meant to be :)

Nagareboshi is one of my favorites. It's a healing romance where the heroine's journey to a new life similarly begins with her encounter with the hero through a marriage of convenience.

Orange Days is an old school, youth, slice-of-life healing drama about finding yourself.

Ashita, Mama ga Inai is not a romance, but it is a beautiful, heartfelt story set in an orphanage.

If I came up with a dream kdrama this would be it. My favorite director, favorite actors, and my favorite trope. oMG!

Thank you. You explained what bothered me most about the confession. And it’s that he couldn’t tell her at the dinner when she was being so open and honest. If he had said “I like you too” way that moment that would have felt like character growth. But not saying it until later did not work as well for me.

Not really. Because this show is so relationship focused, there is not too much in the way of plot turns. I was a little confused about the younger sister's storyline, but even that was talked about in more detail in later episodes.

Does anyone know the name of the song early in episode 5 when Bora is buying all the magazines?

I heard the first episodes are a bit slow and one-note so I skipped to episode 6 and really enjoyed it. It feels like a romcom, but with a deeper vibe? A little more slice of life? I enjoyed the episode I watched and am looking forward to seeing more.
