She looks absolutely amazing and out of this world, the haters must be sick with envy. What is Met Gala and has…
To your point, I read somewhere that it’s best to land on the “best dressed” or “worst dressed” list at the Met Gala because at least the person’s outfit is memorable. The worst thing to do is to be forgettable at the biggest fashion event of the year. So if Reba were to attend, I hope she takes some chances and wear something bright, colorful and different with her own flair and style, but it has to be memorable. I remembered her appearance at Paris Fashion Week last year and she basically elevated a simple white Dior dress into high fashion with her striking looks and minimal accessories. With Reba’s beauty, she does not need to do a whole lot to stand out and she likes to bring something different when the fashion event calls for it. At least, she’s NEVER boring when it comes to dressing up. 😊

Someone shortened her bio, Also removed where mentioned her nomination for prestigious awards. MDL moderators…
Narrow-minded? I call it blatant bias! I have read in here that some Reba fans provided edits to her profile but instead of no changes from their efforts, it has dwindled to bare mentions of three sentences to describe her! There is absolutely no reason not to publish what was submitted unless there is a violation to their rules. And if there is a violation, it needs to be said what it is so it can be corrected. I cannot stand such bias! And C-ENT world wonders why the Alice fandom fight so hard for Reba??! It’s because we have to constantly deal with rubbish like this for her to get the fair credit she deserves!

I'm pissed because i just realised that half of the current bio is taken from my bio but they have cut it so rough…
When you send in your edits, do the moderators provide a response explaining any rationale at all? How can they just cut out all the important details to where we have only three GENERIC SENTENCES describing Reba?? And how can they allow other artists’ pages to have comprehensive description of their work history and accomplishments? Why is there such inconsistency? If they have issues with the submissions for Reba’s profile then we need to know what the requirements that they have for a bio description so corrections can be made. Unless these moderators can provide a VALID reason why your or any Alice’s edits are ignored, then they should be called out for playing favorites. Shame on them in trying to marginalize her and her accomplishments!

BTW, I would love to read what you sent in as her bio edit. Do you mind posting?

Me too lol, then his fans go on about how petty Reba's fandom is.
I agree, I think Alices were defending Reba and her interest and not attacking CZY. What might have started as general defense was perceived as attacks by the other party which escalated to the chaos in the drama page. You and I have waited a long time for Reba’s drama news so it’s upsetting when our anticipation is thwarted by rumored bad news after bad news as it relates to Reba’s role and her billing credit in this drama. I’m trying to be optimistic to start off 2024 and hope Reba officially signs to a drama so that we can just focus on her and her character.

I’m sorry but I have to disagree with you. There is no privacy on social media. If I want to discuss about reba…
I know you have good intentions in trying to keep the peace between the two fandoms but we shouldn’t curb our thoughts because of individuals from other fandom might take offense to them. Comments relating to the Love on the Turquoise Land drama discussed on Reba’s page were not egregious and no personal attacks were made to CZY so if his fans perceived them as slight and were offended, then it’s on them. Alices should have a place where they can discuss things happening to Reba openly. If other fandom visits, I hope they can see our intentions were not malicious and mature readers should be able to decipher that.

As Gizzy stated, we Alices do not fight among ourselves (at least most of the time). I will say we are united in our defense of Reba and support her as much as possible. And sometimes this support might offend other fans but so be it. It’s impossible to please everyone but it’s important to try to remain calm and respectful when there’s a difference of opinion. I think that approach will likely lessen a lot of the tension and drama from the past few days.

Well, I have to say, you’re a great debater. I’ve been on this MDL site for a while and rarely do posters express themselves so eloquently so I can’t help commenting when I do come across enlightening messages. I hope to read more of your posts. 😊

Reba will look stunning walking the steps of the Met Gala. She is already a fashion icon in China; now the world needs to see her strutting her stuff at this international fashion event, hopefully very soon.

Is it me or has Reba’s MDL bio shrunk even more? There is nothing on her breakout role(s) or her acting achievements such as winning the Golden Eagle Award. Why is her profile so generic when other artists here have multiple paragraphs describing their acting history? What the heck with this bias?

I plan on staying out of this thread after airing my sentiments yesterday but I cannot help commenting after reading your message. I’m very impressed with your rebuttal and how you dissected every morsel of words written. Are you by chance a lawyer or a law student?

Sigh. That’s why sometimes I am reluctant to venture to Reba’s potential drama pages because there are posters that try to stir trouble by pretending to be Reba fans. I honestly try to give people the benefit when reading their posts but it is so disappointing and tiring when I learn of their (true) motives. Hopefully other readers keep an open mind and have the maturity not to be triggered by these messages. Thank you for the clarification.

Respect is earned and I think Reba has the respect of many of her peers in the Chinese entertainment industry. She has always carried herself with poise, grace and humility and those who follow her for many years and are familiar with her as a person would not find fault to hate her. She has been acting for over 10 years and she gets along with everyone in each collaboration with no criticisms from any of her drama production staff and no diva-like attitude. Many publications have noted that she is talented, hard-working, personable and scandal-free – definitely a role model to the younger generation. She has no reason for anyone to dislike her so the problem lies with those who choose to hate and disrespect her. As Alices, we should not worry about those few who rather hate but celebrate Reba for who she is.

And still people say that Dilraba fans are not toxicWhat a joke!Dilraba got affected by fans of czy... then what…
I get that, honestly I do. Every fandom has fans that exhibit toxic behavior but I truly believe most fandoms consist of fans who want to support their favorites and are respectful of the costars and the production. That is why I am not usually bothered when I read these anti news because it’s par the course for Chinese entertainment industry even though I hate that my favorite is dragged into it and has to deal with such negativity.

But I intensely dislike when fandoms are labeled as toxic just because a few people want to stir up trouble. I’m all for defending one’s favorite artist(s) to the individual poster but please leave the artists out of these personal attacks because they are innocent in the matter. To say that you hate or forced to hate an actor just because he/she has fans doing questionable shit is where I think the maturity level is lacking. People should learn to differentiate the action of one is not the representation of the majority and the fans’ (negative) actions should not be a reflection of the artist.

And yes, I agree it’s maddening that ugly behavior has been exhibited whether it’s from Reba or CZY fandom or just outside forces. However, I am still anticipating this drama if Reba signed on and I will wholeheartedly support CZY if he is the ML because I want to enjoy Reba’s work and always support all aspects of her drama production. My view is the success of a drama is credit to everyone involved.

I don’t deny that your comment might be true about the main leads taking the blame if the drama is not successful since they are the face of the drama. However, I don’t think it hurts to educate audience that there are many facets to a drama production and that all parts being in sync is truly what makes a drama memorable and successful. This is a place to share views and if one person’s perspective is changed because of my comment then I think it serves its purpose. 😊

seeing how reba got affected in weibo and all other platform..........by czy fans...they say she can't act, she…
I’m taking your comment as a concerned Reba fan. Haters will always find ways to tear Reba down. Unfortunately, that is the price of her popularity and success. It does not matter if it’s this drama or another drama, these antis will just find another avenue to disparage her so why must she pull out on a production if she likes the script and character? Their anti-behavior should not dictate what dramas Reba should take because she might lose out on portraying a wonderful character. As her fans, we should support her in her role(s) and have faith on her choices on acting projects. We’re her fans for a reason and true Alices will continue to support her so she can rise above their rubbish.

This comment is so offensive on so many levels! First of all, who knows if this person is truly a Reba fan. Even if she/he is a Reba fan, her comment is not a reflection of the entire Reba fandom. Her opinion is just that, an opinion, and people have the right to express it and you also have a right to refute in a reasonable manner. To say that Alices are a toxic fandom is ridiculous! Both sides suffered from dirty water throwing at them and there’s no point in arguing which artist suffered more. I can certainly make a legitimate case that this drama has caused more reputational damage to Reba but it’s a moot point because neither has confirmed for the drama. I don’t see a point of rehashing it or pointing fingers. I completely understand both fandoms are trying to defend their favs, I have no problem with that but name calling or labeling of toxicity? People can still express their opinions reasonably and without throwing shades towards the actors themselves. To say that you hate the actress Reba because of a few contrary comments from her fans, which is probably a very minor group that are causing trouble, is a reflection of you more than anything else. I am not familiar with CZY’s work but I would never take a dissenting opinion and form conclusions on the artist or his fandom. I hate that C-entertainment consists of fandoms that like to stir up controversy but it’s more reason for us all to rise above it.

Newest melon is that CY is no longer the ML for LOTTL.
I am fine with anyone being her ML, whether is CZY or the latest CXX, as long as the collaboration is good and there’s chemistry between them. The rumors are just that, rumors. I don’t think it’s fair to blame CZY given all the speculations were not confirmed; once casting is decided, I think all this drama will be behind us (hopefully). I just miss seeing Reba onscreen and hope that she joins a production team soon. Let her performance speak for itself.

Unfortunately, I think both fandoms are triggered by a lot of negative rumors and the issue escalated from there. ☹ But both Reba and Alices had been through similar trials. I recalled how critical Chinese viewers were of Reba during the Long Ballad filming days and many fans did not like her taking on the role of Li Changge but I firmly believe that drama made Reba stronger when facing criticisms and she has been thriving since. Now, she knows what she wants and she keeps on going and bucking the trend in not just settling for idol roles. I get the feeling she’s trying to find meaning in her characters and trying her best to elevate her performances. So, although it’s quite chaotic now for her fans, but I think Alices need to have faith that Reba knows what she’s doing. I know this is a far cry from my stance months ago but I am hopeful that 2024 is a good year for her.

One artist does not make a drama successful; rather a drama’s success is dependent on the collaboration of everyone, from the scriptwriters, director and yes, the performance of the ENTIRE cast. To put the praise on one person is not right and is a disservice to the hard work and efforts of those involved in the production.

eh, why did ml change? I think Cyz's baby face is not a problem because YT looks soft even though he is also cunning.…
These kind of comments tick me off. Please stop lumping the contrary behavior of one or a group of posters whose motives are unknown as representative of an entire fandom. True Alices only care what is best for Reba!! True Reba fans do not care about ZLS and why this would even be brought up is ridiculous. Chinese artists work with each other’s costars all the time so who has time to worry about previous CPs? We only care that Reba gets represented fairly, that she gets do projects she loves and that she expands on her acting horizons. If CZY if determined to be the ML and Reba is the FL, true Reba fans will wholeheartedly support him and wish for the ultimate success of the drama (as it should be).

It bothers me how some posters would use one fan or a group of fans’ poor behavior as representation of entire fandom because in most cases, it’s absolutely not true and I believe very small percentage exhibits toxic behavior. The fact that their poor behavior kept getting perpetuated into other threads as though they are facts cast a negative light on the artists themselves makes me angry. All these rumors and speculations are not verified but haters are using them as a gasoline to start fandom wars. I believe most fans care about their favorites but most fans are also very level-headed and are respectful of others. When I see contrary comments that are in this page or social media, I usually attribute them to antis/haters. Because TRUE fans will want to represent their favorites in the best light possible and wish for the best way to support their favorite artists. So please, when you read these comments, just consider that the poster’s motives are not sincere and to ignore them and tried not be triggered by them. Staying classy and positive is the best way to support your favs.
