LMFAO ur comment cracked me up😂. Btw agree, NO BULLIES!
Yup, read those comments too. Looks like a pattern where they'll say anything to convince others that Earth isn't suited for the role, which often times include personal remarks, like him looking old, etc. Though there are some who are having civil conversations about this. At least they have the braincells to know how to have intelligent discussions like civil beings, and don't just rely on bitchy gossip sessions to get their points across. Anyway, can't wait for the premiere, really excited for it. I'm already feeling a little shy and grinning from ear to ear thinking about the sweet moments. Lol. Only 23 more days to go!!

Rightt???!! I too had one of these 'so-called' wellwishers, a friend, who'd not leave any chance to make me feel bad about myself. Thankfully they are in the past, and I have moved on from the insecurities they gave me. I also think that some of these people may be Santa 'stans' or something like that. No hate to the actor or any of the fans, and I could be wrong, but that's how I feel. Because, why don't they then complain about Santa being too young to play a 22 year old. Going by their logic, the creators should've cast actors around Santa's or Fairy's age, and then should've waited for 4 years to film the scenes after the time leap. Now, make it make sense, cuz it doesn't make any to me 🤷🤷♀️
I think most (not all but most) people who are complaining about Earth being too old for the role of a highschooler…
****Replying under my own comment cuz why not.**** Also, as someone kindly told me a bit about the novel, there's going to be a time leap of 4 years i.e., Earth will be playing a 22 (18+4) year old after a certain point in the show. So, does that make everybody feel a little better now????
I think most (not all but most) people who are complaining about Earth being too old for the role of a highschooler don't necessarily have a problem with his 'age'. Instead, they have a problem with 'Earth' playing this role. Because if we're going to go off on age, then 4 out of the 6 (main) cast members are around 23-25 i.e., Earth, Prem, Ryu and Teepor. And, nobody's talking about them being too old to play these roles. Because this clearly looks like a problem they have with the casting of one of the main leads. Everybody's just targeting Earth for being too old, and I think it's unfair. Talk about the whole cast not being age appropriate for the roles if you're really that bothered by older actors playing younger characters. And, to be honest, it is like this in most of the entertainment industries in the world, where grown-ups and proper adults end up playing high schoolers sometimes. Also, some people, at the pretense of sounding concerned for Earth's future in acting, are using very mean and harsh terms like 'wrinkled' and 'sagging' to describe his looks. And, this is just a clear and classic example of bullies acting concerned and trying to appear as good samaritans. If you're really that concerned, then atleast use words that are a little gentle. And, if you believe in freedom of speech, then also be ready for people to spit the same poison that you're spreading back at you. Because what you give out in this world comes back around. I think there's lots of people here who would want to share a piece of their mind after all. I was also a bit sceptical when I first watched the trailer because I thought that Earth would be a little old for this character, and that it would show. But after watching it, I realised that Earth looked perfect for the role. I'm happy that he's gotten a role where he gets to showcase his emotional range more clearly as his screen time in UWMA wasn't that much. So, yeah, I'm happy with the casting. And, those of you who believe that Earth shouldn't be playing this role, you're welcome to your opinion. I may disagree but that's my stand and my problem. But, those of you who are spreading hate in the name of criticism, I just want to say........take some laxatives and try again in a few hours. I know that the reason for your crankiness, the p**p that's been stuck in there since the last week, will be out eventually. Sending prayers for you...... and loads of healthy and smooth bowel movements. Peace out.
I like the series so far. I don't know why people expect everything to be explained in the first two episodes.…
I think the problem people have with scenes featuring the 'dreaded' apples is Sun treating them as some sort of an emergency solution or medication. Like in the scene where dashes out of the music room because of his attack or whatever. And then, Kim comes up to check on him, and Sun asks him to hand over the apple he's holding. This scene was ridiculous to say the least. I get using apples as a dietary supplement to promote good health. And, as someone mentioned above, there are vasodilating properties in apples, but that doesn't mean you'll use them when you're actually having an attack of some sort. These kind of supplements help in the long run, and can't be used as emergency solutions. So, scenes and narratives like these make people lose their minds, because it hints towards lazy writing, and creators taking their viewers to be fools with such lazy attempts. I love UWMA, and appreciate Fluke and Ohm's work in it. But, real fans would also know when to let their favourite actors know that the work they are doing is not upto the standard they previously set.
*** Warning: May contain SPOILERS about the trailer******
Can anybody who's read the novel spoil me about one thing that I need to know. In the trailer they made it look as if the main leads are going to be separated for a while. Like when Cake goes to the USA (assuming he does), Seeiw will be alone in Thailand. I am a sucker for these 'were-separated-for-a-while-but-true-love-triumphed-and-brought-them-back-together-again' kind of love stories. So, if anybody knows anything about that, then please help your girl out. Thanks!!
Sounds like a great plan. I might do the same thing too. I get eps 1 & 14 (for obvious reasons) but what is ep…
Yeah, you're right. And, I don't think it will be a tasteful one either. I am afraid it's going to be hella awkward, and I might have to take long breaks in between just to get throught them. Damn I'm so disappointed. I was so excited when I saw that the first episode had aired. Couldn't wait to watch it. But, now I don't wanna watch it, but I can't help myself because UWMA has a special place in my heart, and I had been waiting for Fluke and Ohm to act in another show together. Sed life 🙁😑
Does it happen to anybody that you are excited and waiting for the premiere of a show or a movie, but after watching it you feel so disappointed with the way it was shot or written that you feel that if given the chance you could've done a better job. I guess, the connection we form with that particular piece of entertaining even before it airs makes us feel like that. That's the way I'm currently feeling as I watch the second episode. It's my second day trying to finish this episode, but I keep taking breaks to just heave out big sighs, and remembering uwma scenes. I have hopes for the future episodes, but still, I feel bad about the air time they wasted with the first two episodes. Even if they're trying to set up the world and character dynamics, there were far too many filler scenes for me to justify it.
Wow. I feel like the second episode was even worse than the first one!The whole time I was just thinking: "Why…
I felt the same with the scene where Phayu is getting ready for his night shift. The way the camera slowly panned to his abs, I was waiting for something to happen but the scene directly cut to Fluke sitting alone. If they wanted to show off his body the least they could've done is shoot it in a more tasteful way or should've at least shown Phayu walking out of the house after that or something like that. I was wondering how that scene made it past the cut because it literally served zero purpose. P.S. I'm only 9 minutes in in the second episode and I couldn't resist the urge to see what others thought of the show. Goes to show how uninteresting the pacing of the show is.
Did anyone else burst out laughing when Kim's mom kept asking butler Santi for stuff 🤣🤣 I don't know why but I found it really hilarious the way they shot it as if she was getting edgier in her demands every single time. I mean relax it was just alcohol.lol
