okay why everyday there are one or two freaking comments asking about why there are 22 episodes not 36? Can't…
I think it doesn't help the MDL says 22 episodes which is the first place people look. I submitted a request to get it updated to 36 so hopefully it gets approved.
Any UX/UI designers here? There's a bunch of front-end development in their projects and as a UX designer, I would've loved to see them invite a UX designer on the team since they talk a lot about design decisions and UI. (':
I see people on both ends though. There's a few comments talking about how insufferable and narcissistic ML is and a bunch of people agree. Then the bad comments about FL there's usually 0 likes on the comment but a thread of replies defending her or understanding her.
So sad that i can't find any interweaves with cast usually there are more bts and interactions between cast after…
Not sure about everything else, I've seen a lot of BTS content on Twitter. But Arthur Chen posted a photo of Zhang Jinyi on his Weibo and she responded and also posted a photo of him and it's the cutest thing ever.
I've only seen Arthur Chen in Legend of Awakening (it was a so-so drama) and so I didn't have much hopes for this.…
I think he lost a lot of weight specifically for this character because the character he portrays is a programming genius who doesn't work out and has a spine injury. Outside of this drama, he has posted half naked photos with abs and is seen working out sometimes.
He also said he used to be over 200 lbs at some point. Bai Jingting and Johnny Huang are two other actors that control their weight to fit the role they are playing and I love seeing that dedication.
Well, so true.. but it was expected when you have mommy actress & daddy movie director, you practically grew up…
And also going to the top film school in China helps his acting get better and better. I imagine the pressure is immense though coming from a family of directors/actresses and also proving to netizens that he deserves the lead roles that he is getting.
I can see improvement with his acting, definitely shows the hard work he is putting into becoming a better actor
Your analysis on the FL is on point and I definitely think that's how she was intended to be written. She's a…
Well, ML literally got released from prison within the first 10min of ep 1 so they are definitely not together in present day yet but I think we can all predict that they will get back together.
They were broken up for at least 3 years it seems and known each other for 7 years
I was just enjoying the drama as is because it gave out Forever Love vibes, one of my fav c dramas. For a change…
Your analysis on the FL is on point and I definitely think that's how she was intended to be written. She's a protected daughter who doesn't understand how the real world works because every big decision she makes is actually her mom's decision. I think (or hope) that as the show continues, we get to see FL learn from her rashness and become a true member of society. But honestly, as you mentioned, they are all around 18-19 (FL is 18 since she is 25 in present day and they went back 7 years) so even if she wasn't this protected daughter, her behavior could be easily excused as that of a fearless 18 year old with an innocent mind.
I'm super excited to see where this goes! As far as I can tell, FL gains some sort of independence by working abroad away from her controlling mom which is already a step up in my opinion!
2 eps in and soo hooked rn...... I don't really care about the past, so why did they start with the present I'm…
I know what you mean. I wouldn't feel that way if they started in the past but they gave us so much in the present that I just want to see present day again. I don't even need the past to build that chemistry, the red eyes from both of them already convinced me.
I'm still really enjoying the past though! I'm glad we see it but I am just impatiently waiting to see the present day them work it out ;_;
