Was it really that bad? I heard this show was the reason Yang Yang stopped doing variety shows for a long time.
yeah it was esp bad for yang yang, they literally left him (forgot about him) and went home while he was in the middle of an interview and zheng shuang was the guide
no clue what's happening but i gotta support a girl who is just existing. as a fan of another actor who was terribly cyberbullied for a year, it really makes me sad to see anyone else going thru this.
He looks a little emotional and I saw another person who was emotional also.
Everyone always says Xiao Bai has very expressive and bright eyes. Even at Weibo Night, he had alluring eyes that make him look very emotional. I think it's really why we can fall into the world on TFF so easily.
as someone who read this novel ages ago, i actually enjoy quite a few of the changes so far. in the novel, she was killed by a female cousin that wanted her husband (who was evil and useless btw). I am kind of tired of the theme of jealous women scheming and fighting each other over a mediocre guy so the fact that this cousin doesn't exist in the drama is a nice change. plus, i like that he yan didn't marry someone in the drama (': not that there's anything wrong with divorce/remarriage but the whole plot of her dying as a pregnant woman would be incredibly traumatizing to see on screen.
I never hated Mumu even when she manipulated Qingyu into attempting to run away without Mingsheng. To be honest, if I were Mumu and I saw my childhood friend making such a drastic decision that could impact his entire future, I'd think of doing the same thing as Mumu so that Qingyu at least understands the implications (tho I'd be less shady about it). Qingyu understands this too which is why she is not at all upset at Mumu about it.
ML kidnaps FML from the train station because FML's mom stole all of ML's inheritance and disappeared. ML kidnapped FML in order to threaten FML's mom basically - but ofc it's romanticized in the novel, his intentions were to threaten FML's mom but he still cares for FML and eventually takes care of FML lol
Now we are all pretty certain that Jinrui was the culprit (always the innocent one as we know). I am starting to think that everyone (besides FML and her brother) knows the truth and hid it… because Beiyu has a bad reputation and Jinrui probably said Beiyu seduced him. They’ll believe him since it’s easier to blame the dead even if in their hearts they suspect Beiyu was a victim. By blaming Beiyu, they get to keep their family dynamics and the financial support from Jinrui. This is all my guess based on how Qingyu’s mom reacted to Jinrui in their home. She seemed to want to get out of there and was cutting fruit for Jinrui like she really did not want to - which is very unlike her and Chinese hospitality.
ep 6 i hope my guess of who the ex-bf is will be wrong... because they are really setting it up to be a certain cousin that continues to send FL's mom money monthly. is it guilt money? settlement money? hmmmmmm...... and also he gave FL some money that one time he visited with his fiance - FL's mom looked so uncomfortable that whole time too
also i feel so bad for beiyu, she was clearly a very very lonely girl. reminds me of TFF wen yifan getting bullied and harrassed for being pretty. her own family abandoned her 😕

Yeah i guess, but still kinda weird out of all cities they choose the one other city that is connected to her sister. This city has hospital records of her and the parents even sued that hospital so it's weird to go somewhere that has traces of the sister despite them wanting to pretend she never existed

ep 4.. so ming sheng's mom's main "complaint" was that his dad wasn't home often enough for ming sheng so then she abandons ming sheng using that logic? pleaseeeeee, rolling my eyes. I understand being a hospital director's wife is tough and not for everyone but abandoning your son to the very father that has no time makes no sense. the way she harshly pushed crying ming sheng away and slammed the door in his face as she left.
Wait, if they moved to Huanzhou to get away from all the bullying and rumors, why Huanzhou where Beiyou went to school? That seems not very productive...to start anew where people know her sister
