Not bad but not good

First 15 episodes were a 9/10 for me, the episodes following were all 5/10 (lots of 1.5x speed to get through it). 🥲 Seriously though the first 15 episodes had me smiling like an idiot, what happened?

She was interested in this guy for sure. But shortly after they confirmed feelings, she finds out that he actually has a girlfriend (on a break after an argument) and was just trying to use FL to make his girlfriend jealous. ML is interested in FL even before all of this happens. ML has an ex-wife that got sick and ex-wife wants to get back together and he considers it too. Basically it’s a frustrating romance between FL and ML and not worth waiting 40 episodes for tbh.

There’s a love triangle but the love triangle is strange (you’ll understand if you watch). Both the FL and ML have someone else but circumstances pull FL and ML together at the very end. This drama is definitely super slow pace in getting them together.

Melon saying this will broadcast on CCTV & iQIYI in May of this year! Hopefully it’s true, I’ve been waiting over a year for this one

If you look at their profile, their least fav genre is thriller... this one is considered thriller. like what did they expect when they don't even like the genre to begin with... also overreacting to a PECK when the FL was 19 and ML was 28 is INSANE. like the way they comment is making seem like they had a whole sex scene or make out scene. they shook hands and pecked after 15 episodes of not knowing if they will even survive to see tomorrow.

The male main character of this drama is starring in a different time loop drama (different type of time loop from this) called Mobius and it should come out sometime this year or early next year! It'll be 16 episodes long

Answering your question about BJT and female centric dramas. He doesn't necessarily choose based on whether it is male or female centric but rather he chooses based on the entire story and whether he thinks he can accurately portray the character (Sang Yan in this case). He chose this drama only after reading the script, novel, and manhua. Although this is a female centric drama, BJT is top billed and basically it is his job (or rather his name is on the line) to pull investors.

He has three top billed dramas that are female centric - Reset, New Life Begins, and The First Frost. Maybe one would even argue that Destined is female centered though I personally think it's even.

His next two dramas are both male centric - Justifiable Defense (he is not top billed here but the cast is stacked) and Mobius (top billed).

This is also gonna be 16 episodes 😭 But we know it's gonna be an action-packed 16 episodes with no filler (better than 40 episodes with filler imo) because filming took 3 months which is comparable to how long filming takes for 40 episode dramas

I would say it's a pretty big aspect of this drama

I'm surprised this passed review since there's no practical reason (for the characters I mean) to not have headrests (esp in that one episode where they had to drive for 6 hours). Even variety shows they edit in seatbelts whenever people forget to put on their seatbelts

Good one! Very touching and very natural. The only thing that could be done better is the editing. They refilm the same scene from several angles and each version is so noticeably different. One moment they are standing right next to each other, the next they are standing 5 feet apart. This happened in every episode basically
