My favorite dramas of all time are not fluffy romance dramas 😅 I like Our Times, Always on the Move, Ordinary Glory etc. All are life dramas but less arguing from what I remember.

Yeah, now that Xiao Bai is 32 he will probably continue to play roles that are catered to the general public in China. I doubt we will see him in any of the popular overseas genres for awhile (he already mentioned he probably won't do costume and idol romance dramas for now).

On ep 15, atp I feel like maybe I should drop the drama even though it is good because all the families are so stressed and arguing so much every single day. It makes me feel stressed out with them and there’s like barely any happy scenes to balance it out. 😭

She said she knows the culprit and said she can't do anything anyways. And then the whole deal with getting threatened with her contract - the company owns the works and can do anything they want with it. I'm pretty sure (could be wrong) that the drama is trying to say the company edited the works with AI and that's why they were trying to push a statement out and having the assistant take the fault. Completely ignoring Zhizhi when she said she never used AI because THEY did. Otherwise of course they would deny the AI allegations instead of admitting to them.

Honestly loved this drama up until the recent two episodes. I think it's another me problem where I enjoy the flirting stage before the relationship stage. 😭

I also don't love the plot line about him feeling guilty (and personally responsible) for his sister's injuries. It's a little conceited of him tbh because his sister is an individual with her own thoughts and dreams... to say she got injured because he got her to love skiing is a big reach.

But overall, I think the plot isn't meant to be super original or realistic so I will keep watching and hopefully it goes back to being as good as the first 12 episodes.
