He had the calmest death in the whole picture. He literally died in peace holding the hand of the nephew he tormented like 😒 You got to be joking. I've always hated how cdramas dealt with villains.

GYX mom died in a fire caused by her husband.
GYX dad literally had night terrors and then got to feel how his wife felt, which was orchestrated by his brother.
Lord Xian slit his throat after suffering a mental breakdown.
Ronger did the same after suffering emotional anguish.
Her husband blew himself up
The granny died from a fit of anger.
Hua Jing hung herself.
Even the eunuch died by the hands of a traitor.
Also, Lord Xian's eunuch died by an arrow through the neck.
And of ALL those many deaths, the head cause of everything gets to what fade off to the other side 😒 please don't play with me rn yh

I don't even think I could honestly finish this in full. I watched religiously EVERY SINGLE NIGHT 12 am sharp for the Emperor's ending to be that 👀
