This show is one of those shows that is bordering real tacky and bad that it’s actually quite charming and pretty good in all its lame glory. It’s hard to explain, but I think you can get what I mean. It’s silly even when it’s trying to be so serious. Like the sound effects and the awkwardness. BUT I find it quite charming, specially with the lead actors, specifically Pooh and Sailub; it’s adorably bad. Am I the only one? Don’t get me started on those ads. But I have to say, tastefully done, to be fair. I should really be giving the show a lower rating, but all things considered, I’m giving it a solid 8/10. A small part of me is feeling guilty, though. 😂 P.S. I love the power bottom representation. P.P.S. I love that they ended with a bang. 🙃
Akira has to learn how to appreciate what he’s got; I got sick of his persistence early on. I get you’re a trsundere type, but Jesus Christ, get a grip! You are the light of Shin’s life. Damn straight, you deserve the trauma caused by Shin getting amnesia.
On a side note, awkward writing. That whole amnesia bit at the end felt like such a random direction. Overall, Akira really felt extra grating this season, so 8/10. 🤷🏼♂️
It unfortunately suffers from a terrible script. Really shows how a budget can only get you so far if your script is just down right dumb and terrible. And it's honestly so sad, 'cause everything else had so much potential. :((
It was honestly quite cute and enjoyable, but I just wished they tackled more the toxic homophonic boomer parents and not go the “they’re old so let’s not even bother to educate them” route. That plot line was really unsettling, specially as a queer person myself. Let’s not enable hate to the extent we have to fake a marriage and hide our love, people! Remember, we have the right to say NO and to fight for our love. Other than that, it’s really cute. The main couple gave me all the KILIG!
This was so lovey. You can feel the love emanating so hard to the point that I feel like I’m already intruding. This is surely added to my favorites for BL year 2023 for sure! All the KILIG!
Despite what some people are saying, first impressions are really good. It's soooo cute, guys. I haven't seen this kind of representation in Philippine media before, and it's actually so good and about time! Let's normalize this kind of love/representation/show! Other than the production, this was so good and was such a treat. I really, really liked this one. All the KILIG and the feels. Hope the leads have more projects coming for them. They're perfect! Now I feel the post series emptiness. Send HELP! 😩
Started so strong and I really still do enjoy it a lot until now, but you can see the cracks from production showing. Wish they noticed more the little things like minor continuity errors and some scenes/storylines that needed more fleshing out, because this drama's such a treat and has such potential to be among the "top" BLs out there. I'm scandalized by the thought of Zo dying, but if they slapped us with the rape storyline, I guess it's possible. But Zo's so adorable, WHY!? 😩 (but love the possible drama, though)
This show really leaves much to be desired; I was playing it sped up just to get through it. Well, I can at least say how happy I am with how far we’ve come with proper queer representation. This one was toxic/dangerous for the LGBTQIA+, specially on how the straights will think it’s realistic. We can’t just turn off being gay, people! 🙄 Unrealistic AF. And the fact that the main couple didn’t even get most of the screen time?! 😮💨😒🤯
But I’d still also recommend. 😂😂
