If you. haven't still seen the series, then here: Armin keeps on spilling the beans quite irresponsibly, if you ask me, and TD seems to think he's not serious for the first few times. And yes, his obsession started when they met as kids at the bridge. Psycho? Maybe? But I'd like to think that he was just struck by loves arrow real hard when he was a kid, when a boy suddenly appeared in his life at his most darkest time. That's just my interpretation. Ahahaha

It really started really strong to me, and I really was engrossed by the story, but halfway through, you really will notice the gross imbalance between the 2 main couples, and the way that the couple that gets most of the screen time just got dreary, while the one that got barely shown by the end had so much ups and downs in many aspects of their story. We like peaks and valleys; makes it more interesting, you get my drift? I sort of feel cheated, specially since the second couple was really more interesting to me with their storyline. Oh well. Sadness.

Well, only one of them really went back in time, and he’s pretty irresponsible with how he likes to spill his beans so often. It stressed some of us at the start, but it was integrated well to the story. So from the start, really. Kind of. Lol

Still in episode 8, AND I hate that they’re guilt tripping and manipulating Sant into forgiving his mother. I hope people realize that a person’s trauma is their own personal journey, AND that we have a right to not forgive our abusers. DAMN, I’m so triggered. ALSO. I swear, If Yada ends up with Kak, I’d bo so disappointed. As gay people, we deserve proper representation, and the “bi” girl ending back with a man just contributes to the heteronormativity of it all! 🫩

Really, really good quality gay shït over here. I love that their gayness was never an issue, though unrealistic, specially in that time, but I digress. And are you telling me they kept it in the down low for 25 years?! I mean, people have eyes! But again, I digress. 😂 This one had so much love gushing out from all the holes, I didn’t mind the Apple Watch in 1999, or even the lack of any scarring after all those wounds, or the waking up a day after a major brain surgery and all that physical trauma. Over all, best drama of 2025 so far. For ME! 9/10 🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼

I don’t think it’s necessarily because of certain countries, but because the production of the first book is always so censored, so producing the second book is already such a far-fetched idea. And the second book gets really wild and epic. It has scenes with jet planes, believe it or not, and also has a section where the setting is in Tibet. Clearly a major difference than just a high school setting. 😂

To be honest, I’m still a few episodes away from finishing this one, but if it’s going to end how Addicted did end, then that is how it generally ends. But in the book, it got really scandalizing and intense. Apparently Gu Hai’s dad somehow convinced Bai Luo Yin to abandon his son after the accident, believe it or not. Gu Hai ends up joining the military, since in the books, his father is a big military guy. And we get disappointed in Bai Luo Yin for agreeing with Gu Hai’s dad. They separate for 8 years because of him (Bai Luo Yon). But they do get back together and ultimately get married. The book has a lot of sex. Even when they were still in high school. 🫣

The major difference I remember off the top of my head from the book is that Gu Hai, to show the girl running after Bai Luo Yin, that she’s dirt and has nothing on him and should just leave, is that Gu Hai räpes Bai Luo Yin in front of the girl. Mind you, Bai Luo Yin still ends up loving the dick (Gu Hai) that sexually assaulted him… 🫤

Hello, hello. I have read both books, though it’s been a hot minute. You want me to spoil book 1? Which all of these adaptations are based on? Or book 2? The one the we have still yet to see an adaptation of, and is quite epic and wild. 😭

Still at episode 20, but I was FLABBERGASTED!
A reason why I was taking so long to watch this was because I was thinking it was censored straight (a la the Untamed)! But it seems they’re still quite GAY! I’m really impressed, specially since I saw Revenged Love before starting this one, and that was SUPER DUPER GAAAAYYY!!!
Can’t wait to end this one.

Will they end it with a bang like in the novel? 🤧

I did the dumb thing and started this series while it's still being released. Of course I binged all the episodes that are already out, and now I'm stuck and have to wait every single week for the next episode! FML
So, so good though!

I really love how far we’ve come, especially in BL dramas. This one had so much kissing, we’re practically drowning in kilig (google it). It had so much fluff, I’m willing to forgive a lot of the production issues and the plot holes. Also, the way Andy always looks so earnest and sincere, his eyes got me melting! Damn, I just want the gays to love and keep winning! Sorry, I’m just smitten with all the kissing and kilig moments. It’s a 9/10 for meeee!!!

The first part was such a dream to watch; it was kinda perfect with all the best parts of falling in love while meeting a mysterious stranger. I was really expecting to give this one a near perfect score, swear. BUT the latter part was lacking for me, or it was a bit of a mess, unfortunately. Like, we have to admit that there was a lot of potholes in the story, and that I really wished it was just filled with more of their intimate moments, specially knowing that what happens to that one character. BUT, it was really still good, don't get me wrong. It was near perfect, to be honest, but the plot could have been evened out a bit more. Suspension of disbelief really fills in the minor gaps near the end, I guess. BUT! I love that in a literal sense, in another life, they are given another chance to begin again. ALL THE LOVE in this one.

I totally feel the same way! It was really near perfect, but the latter part, specially the story, left a bit to be desired. Technically a lot of plot holes, but still really felt like such a good love story. Tragic maybe, but also not.

So much potential wasted, and so many storylines that really didn’t lead to much. Sad, sad. Barely passing 7.5/10. ):

Wow. That was pretty good! That climax was such a whiplash. I still need to recover from the metaphorical stab wound. 👀 Personally, I would’ve preferred if they hadn’t gone with the obvious endgame route, because a part of me was really rooting for Suhyeon. He had such fantastic bad boy energy, and a big part of me really wanted him to be endgame and have such an earth-shattering redemption arc. I’m sorry. I was team Suhyeon. BUT, I’m still good with baby boy Seonghyeon. I mean, we all saw that one coming. But I swear, the delulu part of me really wanted Suhyeon to be endgame. ‘Cause I’m… broken? 🥲 But really, I’m just blown away how the story ended up going the way it did. It’s kind of crazy! Especially for a Korean BL. Wild! Solid 8.5/10. That ending spiraled a bit, and I wish they had given Suhyeon a more fleshed-out ending. Yes. I’m slightly bitter. 😭

Just finished episode 3. Juskolord, ang haba ng hair ni koyaaaaa!!! Nakakagigil! Sana all may 3 boys na nagaagawan para sa’yo! But seriously, a bit depressing with the whole contract thing, but also makes everything more interesting! To be honest, I’m so excited to see if they’re going to not do the obvious and let the end game not be with baby boy. 😙

I admit, it took me over a year just to finish this one. I finally got the willpower to finish it, and I must say, near the end, it got so bad that it actually made me accept that the whole show is pure camp. Around episode 12/13, I realized that this show embraces the mess that it is, and if you just accept it for what it is, it’s actually quite good. It’s quite good how bad it is. I ended up loving it! 😭

There are a lot of things to consider about how bad the show is so good. Like for one thing, they’re supposed to be in a prestigious, elite school, aren’t they? But the setting for their scenes on campus, like the locker room or the bleachers, is all dilapidated and rundown. Actually, when I think about it, I think the majority of the settings in the series are all dilapidated and rundown places. And I also really appreciate the effort in trying to achieve aesthetically edgy scenes and settings. It’s just pure camp. It’s genius. And the fact that a lot of production choices were just bad and inconsistent, like a lot of the scenes where I’m guessing they’re supposed to be naked, but for some reason they’re still technically wearing underwear, but they have to act like they’re nude. So camp. It’s just all such a mess, but at the end, I sort of appreciate how messy it is and I kind of like it. Am I crazy? I’m not crazy. I mean, who doesn’t like butț sēx, but Jesus Christ, this show is just wild. Fuckįng in underwear? It’s like production doesn’t know how gay şex really works. Oh, my god. But then again, maybe it’s because they couldn’t really remove their underwear to begin with. Whatever. Pure messy, camp college, murder mystery, sex drama? It’s terribly bad. It’s so good. Promise! I guess I’m crazy.

Also, I love that they were really forcing the English parts for certain characters. I’m guessing it’s supposed to sound elite because speaking English is not normal for most Thai people. But I guess like father like son? Their English was so bad and awkward. I love it.

Finally, I really have to note, this is one of the only Thai shows in my memory that has acknowledged that the characters are gay. Like, they explicitly said that they are gay. As a gay person, I never really appreciated how even in this day, Thai BLs don’t explicitly say that a character is gay. I get gender is fluid, but come on. People are gay. It’s really not realistic, not accepting, or even admitting that a character is gay. 😤

Overall, this one was technically quite exhausting to get through (‘cause bǔtt sẽx), but I’d say it was still worth it. Pure camp, swear. And yes, we have a lot of potential for a season two, but considering how production went, among so many other things, I don’t know if realistically season two will still happen. But why not? More bǔtt séx. Hopefully without the underwear this time. 🤭

P.S. Captain was the stand out character for me, and Shell is just so hot, oh, my god. Give this man a leading role, and make sure he exposes dat asş! 😳
