Ok, so idk if I missed smt, but does the Feng Qing Zhou guy have some sort of short term memory loss or amnesia, cause it seems as if he literally forgot his dumbass poisoned the ML?? Like initially I was heated at the moment when ML got poisoned, but let it go cause I thot he was going to be cured soon. But instead of finding the cure, this dude is acting like he’s the ML bff and occasionally rmbs he’s poisoned when ML collapses. Like tf, how about locking in so the ML doesn’t look like he is at the midst of going night night?? Like I lowkey want to throw hands through the screen when I see him lol.

I think the drama is pre decent so far, glad to see WXY act w somebody similar in age. It’s my first time watching Julia and I think she’s doing pretty good too. I do see why people might not like the FL’s character, as she is extremely hotheaded and rather ignorant, but it leaves a lot of room for character development which is nice. I’ve been enjoying the scenes with Tong Shuang and the FL, especially when he calls her out. It kinda humbles her, which she needs. I also hope the ML’s poison arc ends soon. Overall, still enjoying the drama.

idk about yall, but I still want to see LXY and MZY reunite in another drama after this shit show, bc they actually have really good chem irl, and like I said before their faces just match so well together. I feel like the only joy I get out of this drama are the bts, ost, and their visuals tbh cause their face card never declines lol.

Despite the dialogue and script being somewhat questionable at times, I really enjoy the lead’s chem for some reason. Something about both LXY and MZY just matches so well and their faces complement each other, and it just does it for me. I honestly hope they can act in another drama down the line, is it just me that likes this cp lol?

this is why I take MDL ratings with a grain of salt, as a lot of the times I find myself enjoy lower rating dramas (8.0-8.5) more than higher ones, cuz haters love to poorly rate dramas with actual interesting plots just for the sake of their faves.

I genuinely apologize if I had turned it into a political debate, as my initial watch of the scene made it seem like the dialogue was somewhat political to begin with, as the characters first mentioned how the US and Europe were infected (being unfortunate event) and then the discussion about the lab in china and north Korean weapons (being the source of the “virus”). The timing, considering real life political issues and tensions rn, was just kinda uncanny and I couldn't help but see it like that. This is just my perspective that's all.

yea hopefully that's the perspective that most people have watching this scene. Again, there's just a lot of anti-china/chinese sentiments amongst knetz, so I guess I was scared that they may not see it as satire, as some knetz enjoy using the “corona” joke towards chinese people due to political and cultural tension and conflict. In addition to that, a huge portion of jisoo’s fans are in china, so I was low-key stressing about that as well lol. Hopefully the satire is prominent to most viewers, ig I'm part of the bunch that didn't really get the joke, as the mentioning of US and Europe being infected prior to stating the Chinese lab and North Korean weapon thing caught me off guard. Yea the absurb convo is rather realistic reflecting real life convos. I'd just wished they had not include smt like that, as sinophobia in Korea irl is pretty bad atm and watching this type of dialogue can further catalyze negative perspectives to derive. But, yea I def get what you mean.

Love jisoo, but the script is not it. Also, was the dialogue in ep 3 regarding where the outbreak derived from really necessary? “It is not only in Korea, but US and Europe have been in chaos” and then proceeds to say “ some say it started in a lab in China or that its a North Korean biochemical weapon.” Like tf? Is the screenwriter sinophobic or just glazing US politicians, cause out of all the things the character could have said, they chose that. I'm laughing more at the ignorance of the screenwriter than the joke itself. Besides that, the actors did a good job working with what they got.
