Wei Yan loved Consort Shu (bestfriend of his sister - ML's mother). However, she was claimed by the emperor as…
MariaB- Firstly, THANK you VERY MUCH for the excellent background story!!!!
Did you read the novel and that's the basis for your coherent explanation? Or Did you never read the novel and your understanding is based on your excellent deduction once you pieced together all the clues and parts after watching the TV series? (I am asking because some of the points or events you mentioned... I missed when watching the show. Just wondering if you read the book. )
Forget about it for a few days because of 1 ep/day schedule, but I finally completed it. I waited so long for…
Indeed, I agree. It was an excellent series... but I also felt that the political plot was underwhelming or it could have been delivered better. Also, It's great that the FL got awesome fight scenes, but I wish the lauded ML general had more and better fight scenes too. Overall, I can see why this show stands out... compared to the other shows I've watched in recent years. The director really did a superb job with the cinematography and editing work (in general). In many scenes, he conveys the feeling like one is there... it's like he is poetic with the camera lenses... I don't know how to explain it. There are other scenes or arcs I wish he had shorten to allow time to develop other scenes, but alas. Bottom line- highly recommended, entertaining and poetic drama. I plan to re-watch it.
Someone kindly posted / shared this before, but it's not translated. Can someone translate this or know where else to find it with subtitles in English?
Thank you for thinking of others who are suffering of learning disabilities. My youngest daughter was diagnosed…
Bless you and your daughter. She has been very lucky to have a loving and wonderful mother.
Thank you for your reply. I hardly ever make comments, but this time, I just felt that hardly any remarked on what I thought was THE main point of the show... learning disability... in fact, i added these to the "TAGS" section. I hope MDL doesn't remove these.
Sorry, I did not know that "learning disability" is the more polite / proper way of calling dyslexia.
By the way, are the current
Emperor Qi Sheng,
the "sister" Qi Shu (the Grand Princess)
and
Qi Min (the fake / sub Sui Yuan Huai) siblings? or cousins?
