the amnesia thing here is actually not bad. i’m usually not into that trope, but the drama doesn’t drag it out too much. from ep 20, the mc loses her memories, but she pretty quickly catches on that the bad guy’s lying (even before she remembers everything). honestly, i kinda like it here since their relationship was going a little too smoothly up until then. with her memory loss, we get to see a softer, sweeter side of sima jiao.

i was honestly thinking of something similar. i kept refreshing the page, but it still says 40. maybe some miracle happened LMAO. it would be sad for it to just be a glitch

you should definitely give it a try! the mc isn’t bratty at all. she mostly just wants to eat, sleep, and lounge around, but she keeps getting pulled into drama just for being near sima jiao haha. don’t worry, there’s no heavy over the top angst or love polygons (at least so far)
