i read the novel a few months ago. it had an open ending, but the extras show liu shuang and yan chaosheng getting back together and having a happy ending
you should definitely give it a try! the mc isn’t bratty at all. she mostly just wants to eat, sleep, and lounge…
the amnesia thing here is actually not bad. i’m usually not into that trope, but the drama doesn’t drag it out too much. from ep 20, the mc loses her memories, but she pretty quickly catches on that the bad guy’s lying (even before she remembers everything). honestly, i kinda like it here since their relationship was going a little too smoothly up until then. with her memory loss, we get to see a softer, sweeter side of sima jiao.
they updated it to 40 episodes now! i was literally in tears of joy
i was honestly thinking of something similar. i kept refreshing the page, but it still says 40. maybe some miracle happened LMAO. it would be sad for it to just be a glitch
How’s it looking, my peeps? Is this the one for someone like me—who can’t stand for-no-reason-rude or bratty…
you should definitely give it a try! the mc isn’t bratty at all. she mostly just wants to eat, sleep, and lounge around, but she keeps getting pulled into drama just for being near sima jiao haha. don’t worry, there’s no heavy over the top angst or love polygons (at least so far)
technically season 1 has finished airing because people were able to buy the fast track package to watch the rest of the episodes earlier. i didn't use wetv to watch it but you can look at the airing schedule here:
I haven't finished it yet, but I thought all this time that CangXuan is the main ML? haha can somebody spoil it…
cang xuan is the male lead of the story but xiao yao does not fall in love with him. as a romance story the male lead is tushan jing so this makes jing the second male lead and xiang liu comes third
