hahaha.. oh well.. the ML only loved the FL. It's just that the ML was bound on his duty as a prince that's why he was like lovey dovey to the 2nd lead. And actually their love story is a tragic one but for me it's a a good one. I'm justifying all the actions of the ML and the FL and why they ended up like that. But it's a very very lovely story for me. I felt their love to each other.
In regards to ending. yep. the ML killed himself with FL because he didn't wanted her to be caught and be killed by others. It's like Romeo and Juliet thing. But despite of that I really love this one because most of their actions made sense..
Im a huge fan of historical especially cdramas... They got tons of amazing historical drama..you will be annoyed on many names and its really pain in the a** understanding the plot at first but you will get used to it. Another struggle is most of the time it has a tragic ending..
Positive side after watching lots of historical: 1. 50+ episode is a piece of cake. 2. I have a high tolerance now in tragic ending.. not afraid to watch with sad ending. 3. Political drama became interesting to me. 4. I’ve became more understandable in the bad actions of character( Ying zheng and Li Cheng).I started not to judge them... Well not sure if that’s a positive actions.,) 5. There are lots of amazing plot in historical and fighting scene were superb..
Well one negative I think is I’ve became more choosy in terms of choosing plot.I’m easy to get bored now especially I already watched many high calliber historical dramas..
Ahhhh... I'm in episode 36 and I think I will wait to finished this before I continue watching it. I'm okay with the spoiler and it pains me what happened :( I hope they will not kill my love zu xian :(
Don't feel forced to give it a try if you really didn't like it. This series is definitely not everyone's cup…
Hmmm...Actually I’m a fan of this kind of genre.. the leads were great in the first 2 episodes,the aesthetics were beautiful but after that I can’t continue it,,I can’t pinpoint it actually..or maybe I prefer a more dark atmosphere..
I just wish that the ML is not that young.. I think I prefer zhao liying to partner with more mature guy.. but anyway I think I will give this a try because I'm a fan of her.
