Ouuuii what chapter is the dirty on specifically cause I haven’t read that far yet?
i stopped reading already but there's already something steamy going on before little fatty found out about them (episode 23) so if you check the above comment, those start around the chapters after 105

Where do you read the novel in english?
it's updated until chapter 169 part 2 and more chapters are still being updated every monday, wednesday, friday and saturday. you can navigate the chapters through the blog archive at the right side of the page. just check on which chapter you've done reading and look for the next one.

Hi, can you explain the stamp collection thing? Cuz I don't get the joke.
it's how the jungler/captain from every team they go against suddenly become interested in tong yao. so lu si cheng is saying that she's like collecting stamps

I like giving spoilers, so. In the preview of Episode 23, Fatty saw them kissing. Episode 24, Cheng-ge kissed…
the blocking on that scene was hilarious too. like fatty was just beside them, approximately 3 meters away lmao. add it to the explosion cuts

Anyone notice that LU YUE taking pics whenever LSC and TY are in awkward positions πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
yeah. he's like a paparazzi inside their own space. i hope his character gets developed more though. like i already get that there's more depth from the background story of why he got suspended and came back. but the depth of his character just remains there. it seems that he's a character that stays until the last episodes and he's written as a substitute so i hope we get to see him compete in a tournament at least once. not wishing for something bad to happen to TY, just some minor circumstance (e.g. monthly period or a very important event) that would make LY play and at least suffice the fact that he's part of the team

I really love how Tong Yao is just like any other girl - she's self-conscious; she cares about her looks; she cries when she loses; likes being complimented; and she complains during her period. I know some of these are very stereotypical qualities of women (that they're vain and emotionally weak), but because they're stereotypical, writers tend to avoid incorporating them when creating a character of a girl who boldly pursues something that society regards as for the boys ONLY, or as they say in the drama, a Mulan character. I think because some writers avoid these, their work could send a message that women shouldn't act like women to be able to prove that they have the same worth as men. But that should not be the case. Even if girls cry at times, or complain, or be vain, they can perform competently just the same as men if they have enough skills and if they're really meant to. This is what Tong Yao is. She's such a refreshing Mulan in my opinion.

Its called character development. His character isn't going to stay childish and immature he only starts out that…
Oh then i stand corrected abt the SL

And maybe im too used to matured MLs

I have misunderstood the drama to be a saeguk and i was weirded out because i totally love the peace and calmness of the characters in historical dramas, and CEW's character (at least, at first) was not like that at all. But i get it now that you mentioned the drama being something modern in a historical setting; it finally makes sense. And CEW reflects this point really well as he still looks like a modern-day boyfriend dressed in historical robes.

Regarding his character, im glad that the latest episodes have started showing that [there's something more and he should not be forgotten in the drama] and im also pleased that the ML and the FL have started to interact in a more normal way [aka their characters actually blended together not like in the first 2-4 episodes where they were like water and oil, dont get me wrong i dont have any problem with the 'opposites attract' concept but they made it so difficult during those episodes]. And im soooo glad the development was not that slow

Thanks.

hoping for the writers and directors to go against the FL ending up with the ML because SL and FL here look better together and as much as i love Astro's CEW, his character in this drama is too childish/immature [he does a great job at it though] that it's too awkward for a historical drama and even makes it too awkward for romance with the female lead's character

and CEW is being overshadowed by the SL and the crown prince [like you forget he's part of the drama until his scenes show up, i watched it for him but ended up forgetting about him im sorry]

It's like a senior ...sensei?
@Noy i dont think you were able to answer her question at all, you're answers are all about the modern times, none of it explained how it was used in the olden times or if the terms were used differently at all.

i can't answer it either but i know your answer wasnt much of help as i was confused of the same thing @lishaaa is confused of.

it was a good try though, thanks for the effort

Title Secret Fruit
i watched Left Ear (2015) and the plot of this (Secret Fruit) is nowhere near the depth of it. i actually think I wasted 2 hours for this

synopsis kinda spoils it...
no it doesn't really. if the drama is really just like the movie, then i'd like to share that the movie had exactly the same synopsis given here but it only told about 30 minutes of the 1:58:28 - long movie
