the original was a lot better. it gave justice to Juri (Miyake Juri - the original was in Japanese)'s character. and i don't think it's fair that this drama has too many light moments where the characters joke all the time. also, the fat kid died in the original movie. both her mom and dad attended all court proceedings, holding her framed picture (used during the funeral) during the whole duration of each trial. Juri srsly turned mute, psychologically at the least, she was not faking at all. there weren't any romance in the original, i was hoping for even the tiniest bit, but now that i think about it, it's not at all proper to squeeze in romance in this kind of story. the actors were lacking, in comparison to the original cast. i give this drama 3 for effort and 3 overall.
