Is it good??? I keep seeing mixed reviews. The first episode didn't hook me. It usually takes 10 episodes to keep me into any drama, but I wanted to wait until the reviews started floating in for this one.

Xianxia would be ideal! I've seen Hotel Del Luna and Romance of Tiger & Rose looks good, but it's not my thing (I'm not in the mood for romantic comedy x historical).

I saw Ashes of Love when it was first released, and the FL is annoying (even though I like the actress in Go Go Squid). The second ML is annoying, too. I literally had to watch Luo Yunxi in Love is Sweet to appreciate him as an actor after Ashes of Love, because I hated his character so much, haha.

HELP! I just finished The Untamed and I need a rebound drama. I'm going to plan a rewatch of the show (and I never rewatch shows, but this show must be rewatched). What should I watch next? <3

I JUST FINISHED IT TODAY.

I JUST finished it and it is one of the best series I've seen. Yes, the first 10 episodes were dragging for me. After that, chef's kisses. I'm so in love with the performances of the main actors, and the costumes were gorgeous. I can't rave enough about this drama. The final 5 episodes...woooooh. Oh my word! I hope c-dramas continue to get better and better as time goes on. This definitely raised the bar for me.

Why is this drama so slow? When does it pick up? The first 10 episodes are way too dialogue-heavy and the plot is dragging.

UPDATE: JAN 10/2021 THIS SHOW IS A MASTERPIECE. After the first 10 episodes, it's so hard to stop watching. I need more of the TMOPB universe, please.

I saw bits of it on YouTube to see what the actors looked like. I might give it a try when the plot line isn’t so fresh in my head.

You know what, I actually did watch that after DITK, but I couldn’t get into it. I watched a lot of the scenes on YouTube, but the plot line didn’t interest me and the male lead actor triggers me ever since he was in Ashes of Love. Lol. I did finish watching Record of Love and that was so good, but now I need something else. It’s so hard to find good dramas and when you do, you finish them and they’re over and the cycle repeats.

Can someone recommend me something similar that's quite modern with good acting by the leads?
