At ep 11 Choi soo Yeon DateAs Far I Know in reality mostly girls uses these tactics to extort money from boys.…
What? I think you interpreted it the way you wanted. First, he lied to the first girl and disappeared with millions wones of her money. If that's not the least bit wrong for you, I don't know what is. And the rest you said it's not worth analyzing, I guess you understand very well that that kind of generalization is simply nonsensical.

TS and MW are allies now. To be honest, I thought her mother would have some kind of redemption because she seemed to care about her daughter, but she's blind by her own ambitions.
I can't even say that MW is doing what he's doing because of ambition because if that was the case, he would have faced WYW fairly and would have tried to surpass her by his own abilities and capacities (as he used to do). But right now, for me it seems like he totally gave up on that, his ambition was replaced (or turned) by his jealously. He couldn't win her fairly. He gave up because she is better then him (and everybody likes her). So he's out of Hanbada. And right now he's just taking any reason to justify his hateness and mistreatness towards her to hide his own jealousy (for himself).
At least he didn't use the info he got to prejudice WYW, it looked like since the start he was looking to the position instead of prejudicing her. He was (and always had been) focused in benefiting himself. So at this point, I'm curious because he seemed surprised when her mother asked him to prejudice her, as if that was no his truly intention.
Redemption: is there hope for any of these two?

Good. Love triangle on it's way 🙂
Me too, I think they will not keep with that for much long. I hope not, they must develop the characters (SL too, he deserves more) and the story itself.

More like a love Hexagon. Jang Uk, Mu Deok, Seo Yul, Crown Prince, Jin Cho Yeon and hot like summer Park Dang-gu.
The SL is restrained in the past, and I don't believe his past story with her will progress that much longer (I hope). To be honest, I guess until now their dynamic is the one with more explicit "romantic feelings" - but mostly in a nostalgic way. He's a candidate to the triangle, but I hope they overcome it as soon as possible because I like him and don't want to see him restrained by that monothematic plot.
The others or take care about her, or like to tease her (I'm looking at you CP, but it seems like he can develop feelings - but mostly in a comic way for the story).
The FL doesn't have feeling towards none of them. Maybe she's a little more balanced for the SL because of their past, but I think she doesn't like him in that way.
About the ML, they have something complex. I can say that they have a deep and meaningful bond until now.
Watch it, it's worth it.

Are we even watching the same drama? Uk sulked for a day and you're here calling him a crybaby. If you paid enough…
I actually think that a well written romance can add a lot to the story, making it more meaningful. But that only if they don't sacrifice the story on the process, I mean their relationship should not drag the story - and I really like like romances in those kind of series, but it have to conciliate with the plot itself and feel natural. I think that this won't happen with this drama (I hope) as it seems like they are really focusing on their own journey to achieve their dreams/objectives (also there's rumours about a season 2, so I think that if they just keep a good rythm and develop the character and their stories, the romance can sail magnificently).
But only if they don't lose the pace.

I agree with you, I feel that the character that we can call having more romantic feeling involved right now is Yul/Deok dynamic. But I feel more like it's a dead romance/nostalgic feelings.
Also, I don't know how to name the relationship of Deok and Uk, as they are very mixed when we talk about feelings.
But I would say they see each other platonically enough to lay side by side in the same bed without getting awkward. They show their attraction when they're bickering tho.

He said that and after he said: "she's like an egg I have to protect". It's kinda confusing the way he sees her, but even if he likes her in a romantic way he would not be that conscious about that to confess it to his mother figure yet. I felt like he said that because she is the main reason why he doesn't want to marry, as she said that she wouldn't be stuck in life being his servant after that - their master/disciple relationship would be over as that would mean he would stop trying to be a mage. So they would lose their bond and he didn't want that - be it because he would have to give up on his dream, be it because he really wants to help her and be by her side.
I don't see romantic love there yet, but yes there is admiration, respect, affection and attraction. I hope it happens but not that soon, as it can be better developed in the next 20 episodes. You know, a confession would be the high point of their love story, but if that happened in ep 6 that trivially, it would be kinda of a waste. He would not be so conscious about his feelings that soon.

Yeah but prejudicing the older daughter wouldn't benefit him in any way as they have another daughter and he's not at the succession line

I hope so, I have a type of feeling like they could cut his potential if only focusing on their love story.

Yeah but that would be because she's using something to hide it, as the doctor said it was like bruises.
I didn't understanf why Jin Mu would do that?
I also thing that Mu Deok can be somewhat related to the Jin house.

I guess you missed my point. I don't think he's full of pride, but that he values his honor and potential of being great.
He was ready to live in the woods because he was running away from his problems and his apparently (for him) failed dream.
I don't see him trying to be a mage to prove his father as the main reason - (and even so, that would be more about pride/honor than love, since both of them never had actually known each other. If anything, he'slooking for his acceptance and approval). Yes, it can be one of his motivations, but I rather think that his big point in the story is about proving he's worth it and capable for everyone (family, friends, father) and including himself. The story it's about his honor.
It can be turned about love too as the story progress tho.
And I disagree with you about the "people full of pride can't read the room" as the way you said it seemed too generic to be true.
I also don't mean to be rude here, just pointing my thoughts.

Yes, but I'm not missing. I can see the tension and the development they're having, but I wouldn't call that romantic love yet.

I guess that the sister dissappear for a long time and they presumed she was dead. But as they hadn't found her body, so she can possibly still be alive.

I'm relieved to hear that. Their romance have a great potential of being very captivating and deep. But I'm a little worried because it's hard to keep the pace with 20 episodes, so I'm afraid it gets or too fast or too draggy.
Also, I'm not a big fan of triangles, I feel like if it keeps like that, we're gonna lose some real development.
And I like the SL, I don't wanna see his character being limited by a failed romance. I feel like he has much more potential besides being only the "FL's past lover". He deserves more. Please writers don't let that happen for 20 episodes.

In my opinion it looks like most of the things he truly wanna achieve are not for love itself, but they are mostly about pride.
He wanted to be the best mage and prove everyone his potential and that he's really his father's son. And that he could be as powerful as him. With a family and friendships full of mages, he was the one since youth incapable of accessing his potential and that when he's the son of the most powerful mage.
When he discovered that all the rumours that he wanted to prove wrong were right, he lost the reason to keep going. Like, "if they are right, what am I supposed to do? I'm not my father's son".
Here I don't use "pride" as a bad meaning, since it's more about his honor itself.
(But yes I guess it could be a problem for him if it gets out of control.)

Also, it can be other thing besides pride. But I don't think it's love. At least for now.

Yep, I agree with you.
But I don't know if I would say that he likes Naksu. I mean, it seems more platonic right now. Looks like he doesn't like her in that way, at least now - he appears to have a deep respect, admiration and need of her to guide him.
And even if he would be apart from her once he masters his powers, at the moment that she made it clear he didn't lose his motivation or will power, it really happened after he discover the truth about his father.
I guess that right now they're only trying to keep each other near because of their objectives and bond.

I feel like sometimes you guys underestimate what a well written romance can do for an action drama.

I also expect for them to not mess up the development of the characters and the story. Also, romance is too early to happen, like 20 episodes and it's still at 6.

I just hope that they don't lose the rhythm like others dramas lose after some episodes. I mean, going in a well paced rhythm, then super fast and after super slow.
