I completely disagree with everything you said about FirstKhao, not because I’m biased, but because I care a lot about chemistry. As a disclaimer, I don’t have any bias toward any fixed ships and would love to see actors mix while also continuing their own CP if they want to. In my opinion, there is definitely chemistry and sexual tension between FirstKhao’s characters, and they are really good actors. I guess you can’t see past your personal feelings, and that’s fine.

Regarding the second point you brought up, I doubt that’s the reason BOC actors left the company. As far as I know, Jeff Satur does not have an official ship, and he has worked alongside many actors. I doubt he will stick with an official ship after leaving BOC.

Reading your comment below, I understand where you’re coming from though. I am also disappointed that they chose to cater to delulu fans instead of giving us a fun series. I was actually looking forward to a lot of toxicity and messiness. I wanted Dean to kiss pretty much everyone, Raffy too, and so on. I’m not a fan of Boston at all, but I expected him to bring something spicy to the story instead of being used as a prop. This is probably why I’m skipping the rest of the episodes (for now, at least). That said, Season 1 was actually really good, in my opinion, for what it had to offer. I’m not saying it’s the best BL show out there, of course not. But it was definitely much better than Season 2.

Dean x Raffy would be insane, especially since Boom has been a Mix fanboy for ages (OGs know what I’m talking about). Plus, they have so much chemistry, so why not?

Because it was really good, I honestly don’t understand how you can say that FirstKhao don’t have chemistry. That’s the last CP you could say that about. But to each their own, I guess. I also wouldn’t be so generous when it comes to BOC. Sure, they’ve produced some good shows (Dead Friend Forever/Shine), but overall they’re a terrible company and there’s a reason so many actors jumped ship over the years.
But, I do agree with you that CP fans are a priority and it's kinda annoying, especially when it comes to this particular show. Just let actors act....

I totally understand where you're coming from. What i meant to say is that, for example, in the novel Rome did kiss Pete. It's a bit disappointing that they're so obviously afraid of these cross-pair kisses. Like we had at least 3 almost kisses. It's silly. We already know who ends up with whom in the end, so a little bit of messiness would’ve been okay, given the concept of the show. I love EarthMix (and AouBoom), but I'm gonna let this marinate, and if it gets better, maybe I’ll pick it up again.
P.S: A DeanxRaffy kiss would draw me right back in lmao (similar to the Sand/Top kiss in S1).

Sadly, I’m dropping this. They managed to ruin a very unique concept with Season 2, even though they had the PERFECT cast and one of my all-time favorite actors (Mix). I was actually so excited for this, but at this point it’s just a waste of time for me. I love AouBoom and EarthMix, and their acting is so good, but sadly they can’t save the bad writing or a plot that just isn’t plotting. Congrats to the delulu, crazy CP fans for ruining something good and for not allowing actors to just… act. This could've been the best show of 2026, but it's just another boring show that doesn’t stand out. It’s just not giving what it was supposed to give.

Oh and i blocked all the teenagers replying to me and yes i called you weird because you guys are dogpiling on everyone who had expectations from this series claiming they did not watch it and that they are S1 stans. Pretty much not accepting any criticism whatsoever.. So far this is such a flop. Where is the messiness? Where is the drama? Why aren't they all kissing each other outside of their fixed pairs? I was so excited because i love the actors a lot but this is not the Only Friends we were expecting. What was the point of this season? SOOOOO BORING....

Great acting, beautiful story, insane chemistry. This is a in a league of its own. Very relatable lgbt coming of age story. Beautifully filmed, the camera shots, the coloring, the close ups on their faces and THE YEARNING??? THE ANGST? Driving me insane for real. Also, their kisses? Deserving of an award!!! One of the best BLs to come out this year in my opinion.

This rating is insane. This has to be one of the most exciting dramas of the year and i rarerly say this after one episode. Great actors, great acting, beautifully filmed, interesting plot etc. Yall are blind!
