Here is my rant after watching ep 9:I finally disagree with the mom. She really twisted her ideas/words on revenge…
While I agree that we shouldn't be consumed by hate and the past, so many kdramas hold on to this idea of forgive and forget while letting evil people day in and day out continue to perpetrate terrible things to other people and sticking your head in the sand is not justice either.
if they will make a end like go back couple i'll give them 1 star sorry
Yeah, the husband is nasty. Kk sure there will be messaging about how they did appreciate her, she just never knew. And idgaf, the way they treated her is gross.
They end up back together in Go Back Couple. Go Back couple is a tale of a divorced married couple going back in time to their youth when they first got together. They come back to their original time and get back together.
I agree mostly, but I think that's the point of the drama you are missing. The whole time travel was just them…
Yes, I did watch the show. That’s in the summary but the execution isn’t well done in the show. That’s the criticism. If their memory of their child didn’t connect them, I truly don’t think they would have gotten back together.
Am I the only one who got ‘while you were sleeping ’ vibes from this drama👀it seems the writer got his/her…
The drama with Suzy? I’m struggling to see the similarities at all. In WYWS, she doesn’t time travel, she dreams of the future and tries to prevent it. That’s not what’s happening here. This drama is more similar to time traveler’s wife. There’s a few sci-fi shows who’ve done the overlapping space time plot line, like Fringe.
One of the healthiest and purest romance for a thriller all about toxic relationships. They deserve the world, I will be devastated if they don’t get it.
Why is SITR bashed so much???Can anyone tell me under/with spoiler?
Also much like this kdrama, they beat the viewer over the head with the same OST abut that OST is SO MUCH more annoying. Also the ridiculously slow pacing when it doesn’t really add much to the over theme.
Why is SITR bashed so much???Can anyone tell me under/with spoiler?
The first half of SITR is really good but it’s demolished in the second half by the same kdrama tropes with lack of communication and breakups that don’t make sense as well as overbearing characters. The FL which up to that point is making progress as a character, regresses in a way that makes it hard to sympathize or root for their love story. I love their relationship moments till episode 9 and then you might as well skip to the last five minutes of epi 16 and not really miss much.
Ahhhh I’ve reached the later episodes and understand why ppl hate the FL so much. It’s nice to see that 37…
If these characters were never going to evolve and become better more interesting ppl, why didn’t the show just end in episode 10? It would have made just as much sense than for it to have gone on for six more hours for zero things to happen.
Ahhhh I’ve reached the later episodes and understand why ppl hate the FL so much. It’s nice to see that 37 year old women can behave the same as 16 year olds. Girl just really never grows as a person.
I can't get over the mentality of the two FML from the get-go, and it bothers me that if we were to switch genders…
If your partner of five years told you, hey I’ve been feeling that our sex life could be better, I bought something that could help - and you respond with “eff you, that’s a you problem, our sex life has been great for me for this time” - regardless if you’re a man, a woman, a tree, a sloth - this makes you a POS.
When your partner comes to you and says “hey I’ve been experiencing a problem” and you say “well that’s a you problem?” It’s not about gender roles then, it’s about you not being able to take constructive feedback. Be better.
.....these characters shouldn't be married and it's unclear why the show keeps trying to keep their romance alive cause they don't communicate with each other, appreciate each other or really seem to like each other for the most part.
Came here to see if others had this opinion but clearly I am in the minority so I'm sticking it out to see what comes of it but I'm really confused what tied them together for 18 years before this baby came along.
Not even making it to the last three episodes which everyone says are trash cause I for the life of me cannot…
I forwarded to the part where they get together and I’ve never felt so justified in dropping a drama before. They get together because he literally forces her to kiss him in front of the SML and makes her choice for her. I cannot with this toxic man. It’s been a while since I’ve been this mad at a show.
Not even making it to the last three episodes which everyone says are trash cause I for the life of me cannot understand the appeal of the male lead. He’s such a child, it’s unfathomable how he’s the romantic lead in ANY story. He was kinda fun to watch till episode 7 and now he’s spent two episodes jerking the female lead around for NO reason. I truly cannot stand any scene he’s been in the last two episodes and I’m so confused why the female lead would want to be with him any capacity.
Episode 7-9 are just him huffing around like a child, refusing to communicate, blackmailing her and being overly possessive over someone who is NOT his girlfriend or his employee and only really being interested in her when there’s another man around who also shows interest in her. It’s a pissing contest between two men and the female lead is just there.
After a year I rewatched this drama and cried seven whole times. Moving it up from a 9 star watch to a 10 star watch - the way this drama takes common tropes and builds emotional impact behind them to hit you in the face with it later on? Masterful. To be tropey is not a flaw, cliches are cliches for a reason. Can we not all know what it feels like to have life spin out of our control and deeply truly love another human being? I would watch anything this writer puts out in the future. Anything.
i was enjoying this drama a lot but i am on episode 10 and i just cant ship the ml and fl like.. they obviously…
She doesn't break up with him over pride, she breaks up with him because of the overwhelming burden of poverty. She sees his life where people are begging him to fly to the moon while she is begging society to stop cutting her wings. It's neither his fault, nor hers but when you see someone continually getting ahead as you struggle to breath each and every day - it weighs on you. She choose to let him go because if they continued to date each other she would begin to resent him. That's why she say she's afraid he will eventually see her inferiority complex.
