People keep talking about the fact that Han Gyeol is done with lies and it's not logic because the title…
Not sure how anyone can like the second male lead besides his looks. The character the actor is portraying is a despicable one. Chan Yeong is petty, jealous, insecure, immature, and selfish. He never has So Rim's interests at heart, but his own. If he had her interests in mind he would be setting her up with the best songs from the best producer, which is Han Kyeol. Everything he has done is for his own interests to reach fame. And I didn't even mention the lies Chan Yeong has told, which are much worse than Han Kyeol's.
I actually really dislike Chan Yeong, compared to character that is portrayed in the manga source material. The character in the manga, while not a second lead, has a lot more depth and is much more interesting. And the character in the manga doesn't have all of those character flaws that the Korean drama has given to Chan Yeong.
It is pretty obvious that the IVF child Su Mang is having was with Zheng Chu's donor and the child is his. I'm curious about custody of the child though. Does Su Mang's ex-husband have any custody rights since the child was conceived while they were still married, despite it being through IVF treatments? Or does the woman have sole custody because the child is not really the ex-husband's? Does Zheng Chu have any rights to custody? Just curious, because we all know they will eventually end up together and he will find out the child is really his.
The second lead is pathetic because of his jealousy and inferiority. His words and actions are really evil, he…
Chan Yeong is just as much of a liar, if not more. Too much emphasis is being put on Han Kyeol being a liar, simply because it is the title of the drama.
I liked Healer, but there isn't much re-watch value to me. My main issue with Healer was that the series hinted at a bunch of background and character development throughout, but failed to explain it all later on.
Like the photos of the two youngsters together or how the two of them grew up together. That was never even discussed. The male lead's mom was forgotten about. I felt like it could have used another episode or two to tie up loose ends.
27 yr old making moves on a high school girl? I don't know about this one, seems a little creepy to me....
If you are looking for a translation, read the web comic. It is far ahead of the anime. The anime only covers the first 100 chapters or so. I just found out there is a movie due to this week's comic announcing it.
This drama is so unrealistic. If it were even slightly realistic I'd be a lot more interested. Episode 3…
You say none of them are realistic, but they are all based on real life? That is a contradiction. Tough to understand all of what you are saying since it is one long run-on sentence.
The rampant corruption is simply so unrealistic. And it was also a massive disappointment that the male lead threw away his morals so quickly. Lost all respect already. Show just isn't that interesting.
Good list. Another Oh Hae Young was one of those dramas I kept ignoring for the longest time because it didn't have an interesting description. After finally watching it, it instantly became my favorite. And that is on top of all the ones already included here that I've seen and other massively popular dramas from other networks.
Going to check out Ex-Girlfriend Club thanks to this list.
So with Jae Yi adopted is it possible her surname is not her biological mother's? Appears like Yeon Sook was murdered when her child (daughter) was 6 and that was why Jae Yi was put up for adoption at the age of 6. Perhaps the serial killer killed Gwang Ho's wife.
Great series so far. And Kim Seon Jae is probably the son of the father that lost his wife to the serial killer. The father that hung out at the station. Although it was a bit confusing because it sounds like he was chasing a different serial killer based on what they were saying about his partner losing the killer. And the new girl that died has the marking 7 on her foot, so it has begun again.
There definitely won't be any with Gwang Ho. He has a wife and child and just wants to go back. The likely romance, if any, would be between the Professor and Lieutenant. And the Professor could be Gwang Ho's daughter.
I'm so annoyed with So Rim's reaction to finding out Han Gyeol is K. Not like she opened up about being…
I agree completely. I actually sympathize with K. What person gives away an industry secret and their actual celebrity status to someone they just met? Have to see if the relationship has legs before opening all the way up with a secret like that.
Will So Rim have any reaction to Chan Yeong's petty retaliation against K or brush it off?
Han Gyeol has a lot of flaws but Chan Yeong isn't any better...
Chan Yeong has a lot more flaws based on what we have seen so far. And is also petty and vengeful. Still don't view a triangle between the 3 though. Chan Yeong is only after her voice as an out from his band. Unfortunately he isn't a talented songwriter.
This drama is so unrealistic. If it were even slightly realistic I'd be a lot more interested. Episode 3 and I'm already skimming through the episodes.
I'm ready to drop this if it doesn't improve quickly. The misunderstanding about Jung Hee not really being Han Soo's son is frustrating. The father even said he would raise him as his son, despite already knowing he isn't his biological son... Okay, but that doesn't mean you don't tell him you aren't his real father. Nothing wrong with having a godfather. Plenty of character development possibilities with Jung Hee learning about his real father and what happened to him and developing a friendship with his real father's best friend.
Why do writers for Korean dramas think these kinds of misunderstandings are realistic and acceptable to an audience? I'm angry that the writer is doing this to us.
