What is with everyone forcing their opinions on Su Mang and telling her that her child needs a father and she should find the father. Even after knowing it was a child from sperm donation, they still insist? Do the writers for Cdramas not understand the purpose of sperm donors and the reason for anonymity? The donors don't have any rights as fathers and aren't looking for responsibility. They are donors for the sake of those that are infertile, etc..
It is great that they end up together and everything is sorted, but from about episode 32 on a bunch of nonsense went on in this drama. Was great up until then.
Just found this on Viki and watched it. About halfway through I found myself skimming episodes.
Maybe it is a cultural thing, but why did the misunderstanding between Long Xia's mom and Tang Shi Yi go on for so long? Why didn't he come out and tell her they broke up in the 1st episode because she was cheating on him? And she did it repeatedly. Took like half the drama for that to get resolved.
I really didn't like the change in personality for Long Xia after he got married. His personality did a complete 180 and he became carefree, lazy, and irresponsible. He helped friends before his marriage, but it became much worse after his marriage. And it only took them breaking up for him to realize the error in his ways. A common cliche, but usually the flaws are there before they get together and not after.
I respected the female lead a lot. She was consistent the entire series. Shame the male lead spoiled things for me. Could have been a lot better.
How u guys hate this one that sounds pretty good but love strong woman wich has no story? geezzz can't understand
Strong Woman Bong Soon had no real plot. The serial kidnapper/killer aspect was included just to drive the plot further along and add episodes to the series. It had no real impact on the main characters though.
I still liked Strong Woman Bong Soon though as it was fluffy and lighthearted.
I really enjoyed the show. It was so fluffy and sweet. I am giving it a 7.5/10, though, because while it was nice…
I felt like the last 1/3 of the show was on pace well and still excellent. It tied everything together well. The transvestite shaming is nothing out of the ordinary. Women playing online games are often called men and most people assume any woman playing online is man playing in disguise. Been that way for a long time. Just like any child playing online is assumed to be the FBI trying to catch a child predator.
And if a woman is playing she will likely get fat shamed. Men too. Just the nature of the anonymity of the internet and trolls out there. I thought it was a good lesson and Wei Wei confronted it well.
The first episode was solid. I don't think the romance or anything was too fast paced. Everyone is forgetting that this will skip forward and there will be resentment between the two based on the description. It will take time to build it up again probably.
The one drawback to the show is the production value and camera work. It was definitely not up to par and much worse than many of the Kdramas. But it wasn't bad enough to make me want to stop watching. But when I can notice bad production value and camera work that is saying something, because I have zero experience in that area.
I loved her in the Man From Another Star, but i cannot endure in Legend of the blue sea. I don't know why
I think you have to really enjoy the comedic aspect of Legend of the Blue Sea to want to watch it. I laughed so many times though. Jun Ji Hyun's role was hilarious. It had a really happy ending as well that tied up all the loose ends.
Speaking of the side characters... They indeed aren't nearly as appealing as the leads. Though as the story…
I just found it really unbelievable that a person like Zheng Chu was together with Shan Shan for 5? years. They didn't really touch on their past much I don't think, but the only explanation is she fooled him and manipulated him for years.
I can understand Tang Ming falling for that because he doesn't seem too bright in that area, but not Zheng Chu. Tang Ming also being a doctor doesn't really fit his intelligence. I guess it was just a plot device to tie in the father of Xiao Qiu and Shan Shan.
Just a bunch of contradictions. They make a smart and caring person like Zheng Chu out to be a complete fool and idiot for being in the relationship with Shan Shan.

I agree with you about the most unbelievable part of the drama is that Su Mang and Zheng Chu were both in relationships with those horrible people.
I haven't caught up all the way, but I still don't understand how Tang Ming can be bothered to get caught up with Shan Shan. She is a despicable and manipulating person. Tang Ming wasn't much better though. Tang Ming is quick to pass judgement on family and friends without first hearing both sides of a story. And he pursued a relationship with his friend's ex right after they broke up, knowing his friend was proposing. If those two end up sad and lonely it will be karma.
Really enjoyed this one. It was all fluffy and feel good. It is nice to sometimes watch a show without all the usual cliches of a Kdrama to manufacture drama in a show. They did use the serial killer/kidnapper as the primary drama in the show though, which drove the plot along. Otherwise the series could have been 8 episodes of fluffy feel-goodness.
Was watching Marriage, Not Dating earlier and was reminded of Song Ji Hyo when watching Han Groo. Or maybe I was thinking of another actress, but I was reminded of Song Ji Hyo at first.
Queen Returns looks interesting. The Frankenstein show also looks really good, but where can I find a place to watch Japanese dramas? Viki and DF are sparse on Japanese shows.
The synopsis on Tunnel's viki page caught my attention: 'Park Kwang Ho (Choi Jin Hyuk) is a police detective…
Her adoptive parents died in the fire. And that happened when she was a teenager. She was adopted at the age of 5 or 6. Considering PKH's wife is "missing" it is a good indicator that his wife may have been killed leading to his child being adopted.

Looks like Yeon Sook had a daughter based on next week's preview.
