Well so far, I have to say is that it's okay. I kind of like it. To me, it has it's own charm but I…
I really hate how ineffective the police are portrayed so often in Kdramas. And the justice system. Do the writers even do proper research? It is just a k-trope used to moved the story along, because the writer couldn't find a proper way to advance the story.

This is definitely one of those series you will either love or hate. And like the reviewer, Angelina, wrote, if you don't like the series in the first couple episodes it won't ever get any better.

I gave it a chance because I enjoyed the manga and Japanese movie adaptation, but found myself not wanting to watch it at all. I essentially dropped it twice and didn't watch episodes for multiple weeks. Skipped through the last 5 episodes.

The acting was solid. And Joy wasn't bad in her role, but I didn't like her role that much. It was written that way though. The music was good.

I simply hated most of the characters in the show, except for K's dad and the actor portraying him. That was the only saving grace for me. Poorly written and boring from my perspective. I honestly think they should have kept the adaptation closer to the source. Then again the source manga's author is known for teenage angst mangas. If you have read any of her other material you might find yourself pulling your hair out. But her best work was Boku no Hatsukoi o Kimi ni Sasagu, which was also adapted into a Japanese movie.

I definitely agree with your overall assessment. If this drama doesn't suck you in within a couple episodes it won't ever suck you in. Stop watching it immediately and don't waste your time with watching the entire drama.

I dragged myself through to the end simply because I enjoyed the manga and Jmovie. But I skipped through the last 5 episodes as I simply couldn't bring myself to waste another 5 hours on this drama.

There wasn't much I liked about the direction the Korean adaptation went with characters and story.

I think the little boy is their son
I was skeptical with how Yoo Mi interacted with the child in earlier episodes, but I think the previews for the next episode confirmed it is her child. Not much of a surprise though, considering how many cliches have been thrown into this romcom. Still really cute drama though.
On My Father Is Strange May 2, 2017
I really like Lee Yoo Ri (Byun Hye Yeong) as an actress, but with every episode I watch I hate her character more and more. In addition to her counterpart, Cha Jung Hwan. God I hate that couple. It was cute early on, but now it is frustrating to watch. At least the other couples are enjoyable.

Was she in Greatest Love or was that her sister? It was a small guest role in one or two episodes.

I know I'm not supposed to compare It to the manga, but I just thought Sorim is portrayed pretty weak in…
All of the characters were stronger in the manga and more interesting. This drama disappointments me as a whole. Comes across as teenager angsty. Almost over though...

Title Tunnel Spoiler
I'm really disappointed the medical examiner is the real serial killer from 30 years ago. That is my one knock on this series so far. Too cliche and they didn't even try to hide it. It was obvious from the get-go. I would have preferred they went the route of a minor character with a brief appearance early on that most would not notice. There will be a nice backstory with the serial killer and how it ties together, but the in your face attitude the writers went with it disappoints me.

I'm guessing that the child in ep 3 is their love child... Hahahah. Far-fetched but that is my gut feeling.…
I really don't think it is. It depends on the mother's age I guess. Since she was a porn star there is a chance the age difference between mother and daughter is much lower.

The daughter hardly treats the child as her own though. Seems kind of harsh, even if it were a one night stand result.

why does everyone hate chan yeong?!?!? I think his character is so good and i feel so sorry for him :( he's…
In the Japanese source material he wasn't that close either, but that isn't the point. In the source material the character is more independent and stronger. Had a lot of depth. Wasn't a whiny, woe is me, the world is out to get me type of character. I don't like what the Kdrama has done with the character just for the sake of a cliche love triangle.

I like this so far. Different from a lot of the Taiwanese dramas I've seen lately, which is a really good thing. The last 6 months have been some of the worst Taiwanese dramas.

It will be interesting to see how it all unravels. He has to resolve multiple relationships, both the girls and the rich jerk. Save Ruby from suicide and a bleak future with the rich jerk, help the rich jerk become a good person, and resolve his feelings for his childhood friend.

Should have a main role in a romcom
Her role in Chief Kim was more a supporting role. Honestly Chief Kim was the only real main in that series. She is really cute and funny though. Would definitely like to see her get a main in a romcom.
Great show, but my main issue was with the time skip forward at the end. Maybe they should have thought about setting the series 30-40 years before 2016-2017 to make the ending more realistic. Nothing changed in 30-40 years. That really irked me for some reason.
On Spy Myeong Wol Apr 24, 2017
Was solid and I love the two main leads. Really grated on me a bunch of times though when the mains went "noble idiot". Happened far too often. A lot of unnecessary back and forth.
On Love Me If You Dare Apr 24, 2017
The series was alright until the "reveal" at the end. Which I have read is a change from the novel it was adapted from. I actually liked the novel's ending far better and I felt like it was done in this adaptation just to extend the series. And it did extend it, but it dragged heavily for me. Was 10/10 from me until the drag at the end.
On The Liar and His Lover Apr 24, 2017
Going alright so far. Wish it were more interesting. Has definitely veered far away from the manga source material. The story has changed completely besides the HS trio debuting. And I really hate what the Kdrama has done to the equivalent Chan Yeong character in the manga.

Chan Yeong's character in the manga was so much more interesting and had a lot of depth. He was also a strong character and talented. The Kdrama seems to have given Chan Yeong the talent to be great at bass, but suck at everything else. And turned him into a petty, jealous, annoying character that wants whatever isn't his. The Kdrama appears to have butchered that character just for the sake of a love triangle cliche.

Can someone tell me if it has the same sad/open ending as the movie?
The manga finished a while ago.

I feel like Tang Ming is so pathetic and such an idiot. I was really excited at first to watch his love to xiao…
Su Chang's and Tang Ming's situations are completely different. That being said, Tang Ming was still an indecisive idiot and has regrets he will face for his entire life.

THE MOMENT BAEK TAE MIN THREW HIS CAT WAS THE MOMENT I KNEW I WOULD HATE HIM FOREVER
Baek Tae Min has all the tendencies of a serial killer or sociopath. I'm sure it will tie in to what happened to Se Ju 10 years ago.
