OMMNAAA CHINGUS!!!!! Bok nam was on the bus in ep4 59.11 right at the end, when ji ho and Se he were going to…
The more he reveals in episode 8 has me thinking he has shown up in every episode so far. Creepy. And how did he even become interested in Ji Ho in the first place?
He is slowly starting to open up. He may not realize it, but there had to have been some underlying feelings for Ji Ho to go through with everything he has done so far. Sure she is the perfect roommate for him, but has he thought why she is the perfect roommate? Why hasn't he found one before regardless of gender?
that's because he's not a second lead. ji ho doesn't have any romantic interest in him, and he seems to be an…
I also like it more if he is the antagonist than a 2nd lead. Interesting. I caught the stalking thing, but I thought it may have been a mistake rather than something that could have taken place. But it does make sense.
The book Bok Nam gave to Ji Ho had me thinking he was the author of that book. The cover was pink as well. He has an expensive bike and no known source of income.
anyone else getting bored? thinking of dropping it. might as well rewatch pinochio or something.. maybe its just…
I was bored a few episodes ago when they were repeating the plot. About how something terrible happens, realize it was a dream, work to stop event from happening. There isn't much depth to the show. The last two episodes were better. They need to dive into the past and quick.
I find this show quite good with an enjoyable cast, except for Oh Man Soo. Could do without that character. Some of the explanations have been a bit unrealistic, like the black clothing, so I'm hoping that just has to do with her not being able to see #444.
There is a lot going on, but more and more is starting to make sense. Everything ties together. All of the characters are related directly or by association to the main plot.
Such a good drama up until ep 20... It's so hard to finish this now
I read that it deviated from the novel. And based one what I read the novel's ending was much better. The drama added an unnecessary twist to extend (drag) the series. It was definitely great up until that point though.
Riiiigghhhhtt? The situation reached a whole new level of awkwardness that it made viewers wonder, "Now, just…
Jung Sun has already drawn a line and shown where his loyalty and priorities lie.
Just because Jung Woo was there for four years doesn't mean Hyun Soo also has to develop feelings for him. She owes him nothing in that department. And if anything there is still guilt there on her part because that meeting with Jung Woo four years earlier was the catalyst in their parting. He didn't try to further their relationship and that is entirely his own fault and Hyun Soo owes him nothing. And I think, based on his character, he wouldn't have pursued it further in fear of the inevitable clean break. He fears losing her companionship more than gaining her love.
I see them going down the path of Jung Woo being even more cruel. He already has leverage on the business and Jung Sun's mom, due to the debt she owes him.
I don't see any scenario where Hyun Soo ends up with Jung Woo. I think a tragedy where Jung Sun dies in an accident due to Jung Woo is entirely plausible and Hyun Soo ends up devastated and alone. Or Hyun Soo could end up dead due to an accident and the two of them are left alone as well. But it would be silly to have Hyun Soo end up with Jung Woo.
I'm enjoying this so far. I was turned off a bit with Bai White as the lead at first, but he has grown on me. I absolutely loathed him in both versions of Love O2O. The female lead is cute and generally that have done a good job of making her look younger than she is to pair well with Bai White.
The cases have been interesting and the interactions between all of the characters has been goofy. I read that this is based on a book by the same author as "Love me if you dare" and "When a snail falls in love". Both were good, but the deviation from the novel in LMIYD at the end dragged and was disappointing. Hopefully this stays true to the novel and it is a based on a good novel.
With the episodes released so far it has only been briefly mentioned and not discussed at length or explored at all. The focus has been on the cases so far.
Ive been reading your synopsis of the episodes, keep me posted with HongAh & WoonJoon Ive been rooting for them,…
That doesn't lead to developing romantic feelings unless they are pulling them out of nowhere to drive the plot in a drama.
I honestly have a feeling Hyun Soo is going to be the driving force in a split soon. While she is being somewhat mature about all of this, she also hasn't drawn a line and is allowing Jung Woo's advances. Based on what we know about the characters so far she will be the most likely culprit, not Jung Sun. It would be out of character for him. And he has already been rejected and hurt by her before.
If this were a crueler drama I could see Jung Woo raping Hyun Soo as well. His character has that cruelty.
They really haven't explored much depth into Jung Sun's family life and the divorce and physical abuse both he and his mother sustained. With the parents meeting it might start to unravel. It is obvious to me Hyun Soo's parents likely won't approve of Jung Sun due to his family background. Just going to be more and more wedges driven from Hyun Soo's side.
In Time With You, Autumn's Concerto, Down With Love, Murphy's Law of Love, Smiling Pasta (cringey but surprisingly…
Very thoughtful comment and dead on accurate. I actually started with the TDramas because they were available on Netflix first, but since moved on. There have been a few hidden gems, but the vast majority stink due to the reasons you mentioned. The dragging has to be the most common issue in my opinion. I've seen Kdramas and Cdramas drag, but nothing like Tdramas. Tdramas have made an art of it, and it isn't art I'm interested in.
Refresh Man was a good one that is relatively recent. Not many since that one have piqued my interest though. Murphy's Law was good, but there was some unnecessary dragging.
Marry me, or not? was great. It has the same leads as Office Girls as well. In general though, most Tw dramas are terrible. The fight scenes always make me cringe.
I'm thoroughly enjoying this high school slice of life show. Just wish it wasn't one episode per week! The leads are all interesting and fun to watch. Ga Ram looks much older than a high schooler though. Tough to buy into that.
Didn't really like Choi Shi Won's character in She Was Pretty and he is playing a similar character in this show. Disappointed. Ruining Kang So Ra as I enjoy watching her.
A bit confusing and that is understandable with only 2 episodes so far. But I believe from the 2nd episode it seems to point to Kang Ha Ram being the daughter of a Grim Reaper, hence the sight. And the strange explanation for the father's death and mother's response.
Is Grim Reaper Black her father? Or another Grim Reaper? He appears to be hunting down the guy with the spider tattoo, but I could be wrong.
I didn't want to hate Hong Ah becaue Bo Ah but todays episode made me really dislike her and I really felt…
The only time I really get SLS is when the writers do a poor job with the leads. The last drama I remember that happening with was Doctor Stranger. So it appears to only happen for terrible shows for me.

Jung Woo has been lair bare for us already. I don't find his character particularly interesting, but I almost never get SLS. Second leads are written with the sole intent to create that SLS which can drive drama/plot along. There is no romance with him and I see more of a darkness in his character. It will bubble to the surface soon I think, especially after that voice over.
I also think Jung Sun's character hasn't been explored much at all yet. We know his mother was abused, but nothing much beyond that. We don't know what happened after they left and what kind of scars his mother has also placed on him. I hope the writers do the character justice because it is a character I enjoy watching. I hate when Kdramas introduce character's story only to never use/explain it again unless it is convenient to move the plot.
As for Hong Ah not much can be done there. She has been flat out told by Jung Sun and others that he has no interest in her. Her crazy flag is flying and she is going to roll. Get out of her way!
