I'm the extreme minority here but I found it boring. Like at first it was interesting and enjoyable but then…
I'm in agreement. I watched it based on the constant recommendations for it. Cliche plot and boring at many points. Found the last few episodes very draggy and had to skip through a bunch to finish. The ending was a real let down for me. To make it all the way through just for that kind of ending made me angry I even wasted my time with the show.
whats with these dramas these days with age gaps lol >s
6 year age gap is really nothing. When we start seeing an age gap of 10-20 years that is when I have a hard time buying into something. Larger age gaps where the woman is older is rare though. But some of my favorite dramas have been noona romances. Taiwanese My Queen was great.
Is this drama same to same with witch's romance?.....
It is the original and I prefer it. I felt like the age gap was more difficult to enjoy in Witch's Romance. And also the plot was more enjoyable in this version.
Keep coming back to this one. Great replay value. Love watching the interactions between the main leads and the friends. Can't get enough of it. Probably my favorite series from China/Korea/Taiwan. And the best of the Gu Man adaptations.
Bride of Habaek had pacing and plot issues. And many of the characters had poor development. Just a lot of mistakes. It was nice fluff and goofy at times, but disappointed ultimately.
The plot is so similar to Sweet Home Alabama. Ah, the romcom sweetness. I hope this delivers. Btw: Sung Hyuk plays…
The plot is actually a lot more like "Regarding Henry" with Harrison Ford. A cheating husband that doesn't care for his family loses his memory and becomes a loving husband and caring father.
It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great either. There have been a bunch of kdramas I've watched that gave me a similar vibe. It was nice how everything tied together in the end, but overall I felt like the plot was weak and uninteresting. I felt like they could have explained the past better and in more detail.
Lack of plot and direction really hurting this series. It obviously didn't follow the Manwha, but to have no clear direction on its own is disappointing.
The main couple is totally adorable. Watch this if you want a simple drama that's enjoyable. Edit: Forgot…
Lin Zi (James Lin) is simply one creepy written character with a ton of flaws. His view of being worthy of Yun Dao's love is being rich and having the free time to do whatever one wants to help her... not even in dramaland is that a valid view. The lies and the stalking keep adding up. He will eventually get caught in a lie. And all of the misleading/negative information he provides on Yibai is aggravating.
Enjoyable to watch besides that character. We don't know his sister's background yet, but it looks like it is probably going to end up as a one-sided love that was not reciprocated by Yibai. Which of course James Lin places all the blame on Yibai and probably ruined Yibai's career in the first place with that failed drug test.

Agree completely. The interactions between most of the characters are adorable and funny. The mom of the male is the best character in the show. Love her. Cracks me up every time she is on screen.
The brooding stalker James Lin guy is not that enjoyable to watch though.
Here is to hoping there is more of a concentration on Mi Yeong and Ra Yeong's relationships in the final 10 episodes. Sick of watching the Hye Yeong couple. All of the other characters and couples are a joy to watch though.
I'm enjoying the show. But then again I also don't rag on actors/actresses and drop shows specifically because of one. Why are folks bashing these actors and actresses online? Contributing to a form of bullying. Must be a common activity for netizens to do with Kdramas, because it is often a theme in the Kdramas themselves. It isn't healthy though. Just watch the show and quit over-analyzing the performances.
