Everyone's theory is that Jinman must've dealt with Babylon and Bale already, hence his injury and late arrival.

I think his current state could be because he had to fake his death not too long ago and he lost a lot of blood in the process. Perhaps that's why it took some time for him to recover.

I hope we'll get to see out mains deal with Bale & Babylon together. Otherwise S2 would just be LDW vs Bale.

It would've been out of character for them to run up to each and hug crying like feel-good dramas.

I didn't even expect Jian to smile but her expression showed relief at least. Imagine fighting so hard to live only to be left with no one by your side. Good for her, her people survived unlike Jinman's all those years ago.

I think he's too smart to fall for that. He could he faking his death to:
A. Lure Bale and his goons out
B. Train Jian for the real stuff that awaits

Or if he really is dead, he has trained Jian enough to handle it with the help of his friends. Either way, Bale's gon die.

There's no way Jeong Jinman fell for that deep fake. And Jian rarely calls him samcheon. I hope he's alive!

I don't know if they investigate suicide cases thoroughly unless there's signs of foul play. Someone from the force could be in on his death too.

But getting justice still matters
