It is a happy ending, for the leads at least. A tad bit bittersweet in another aspect.

One word to describe this drama would be; ✨MASTERPIECE ✨ It's been a while since I watched a drama that hit me THIS HARD. I was quite literally bawling every single episode. The leads absolutely killed their roles, the acting was PHENOMENAL (ughh my babies, they suffered so much ) I knew this drama would give me a heartache ,but the pain was worth it in the end at least😭 I wish they would have given us a more fleshed out ending though, that's my only complaint.

Ughhh this drama was indeed such an emotional rollercoaster!! The storyline was so heavy yet I couldn't put it down nor stop watching. I wish the leads had more screentime together, they truly complemented eachother so well. Their chemistry was subtle yet so powerful at the same time. The last three episodes were such feel-goods, it was worth it after all that pain. Loved the ending, but couldn't help but wanting for more! One more episode focusing on their romance would have been perfect.

Even though I agree that they should have not dragged the cooking competition till next week, I must say I'm enjoying it a lot more than I thought I would. Who knew watching a cooking show would keep me on the edge of my seat lmao.

I first discovered Chen Feiyu from Lighter & Princess back in 2022, and was absolutely in awe of his acting. Now, this drama has fully secured his place in my heart as one of my favorite c-drama actors of all time!!
