All dramas have villains/competitors...without them, there's nothing to dramatize 😄. I sort of sympathize with the character as it's a human reaction when you're after a guy all your life and soneone else comes along and she's get ahead of you...and per the drama, ZD is a pretty lady, smart, wealthy, everything that a guy would want to....

Per articles circulated on the internet, the lucky girl got emotionally involved with both. Whether there's any truth to them, nobody knows except they themselves. I personally believed in that indeed there was a relationship between Xu Kai and Bailu. So, in one of those pre-presentation of the Legends (their first drama being both in the leads) and of course Xu Kai was starting getting recognized then because of The story of Yanxi Palace, so Xu Kai was holding Bailu during the entire presentation (or Bailu was leaned on him, can't remember exactly but it was one way or the other), and then told softly Bailu while someone was talking, that he needed to go to the bathroom 😄. (In a colloquial way -wo heng zi). Of course our Xu Kai was a very naive boy, he didn't realize that he had the microphone on....so this was spread like crazy. The reason i brought it up (and I am skipping some other details at other times), you tell those things only when there's plenty of trust among yourselves. As to Bailu with ZLH, the paparazzis followed them and found out that Bailu stayed at the boy's apartment overnight and other details which I wasn't interested in as I am just a fan of Xu Kai. I like Bailu but not a fan of the other 2....

Yes. I have read all these stories about his starting up🙂. Ever since Yanxi, I just became his fan. So i would look on the internet, youtube about him and read things like you've noted above. Of course as his fan #1, I wished he'd succeed and be the #1...but yeah, it definitely can be not what XK actually wants nor it's my business but you know, in a forum, we're just expressing our opinions and what I see of his potentials and what his shortcomings are...😀

She said she's not trying to defend JX for abandoning her co and HT, but that JX did the right thing. Per the novel, JX always makes her decision based on information. JX was inmature at the time and she trusted HT not expecting what he had done to her... but that after going abroad (left her co) she then studied and then understood HT's point of views and then became partner to him. The most important thing was that afterwards they had better communication

He probably had been eating too much before filming...in later episodes, he's gotten back to almost normal like he used to be...like in ep 39 or so. He's very eloquent in person, easy going person from what I have seen him in some of the streams he's been in.

Yeah, it's so unfortunate, but he wasn't targeting the entertainment industry when he was a child like most of the others do...for instance xiao lung from LYF learned dancing and singing since he was a child and many others. If Xu Kai were trained, he could go even a lot further as he would then have the looks and a complete entertainment talents...but oh well, he's still doing very well as is, so kudos to him!!!

Xu Kai definitely has a beautiful voice, very sexy and all. However, he needs to take a singing lesson to get his singing tones within the music tones. Both his dances and singings need much improvement, it's too raw to say it politically correct unfortunately

Exactly, Xu Kai looks so good when he's not underweight 😄. I was just re-watching ep 22 when he was at Xing Yue (his restaurant) and was playing the cards with his business soon to be partners; and then the bet with JX, wow, he was so handsome in there. It's so obvious that that scene for that on ep 22 was filmed on the same day as the cards playing scene of the 1st ep, HT/XK had the same hair style, same type of clothing, same make up, etc. I take it back, XK looked very handsome in the entire ep 22!

The attires for HT was impeccable to me...there were more than a dozen of suits/jackets although the ones HT wears for a longer time seem to be the same ones...i guess those were used for longer times of recordings or on the same day of filming. The hair style for Xu Kai hasn't been good for a long time...only on a few scenes that they were good such as his hair styles during his days at the hospital which is free-hair style, let down type of thing, and a few rapid shots like the one when he came into the restaurant with DG, or at the exit of the stairs; or on ep 12 when he was at the restaurant introducing JX to the people of the Healthcare business. Overall though his outfits were very good, the best of the cast I may add. A side note, in all dramas of Xu Kai, his outfits in his drama have been always the best of the casts's...maybe there's a bias for ML's dramas as far as wardrobes are concerned to always get the best or maybe because Xu Kai is a model that the drama gets paid for Xu Kai exhibiting/modeling them...or (I'm not sure if this can be true, that the jackets/wardrobes are really Xu Kai's)
