@Red Girl, I kind of understand your point of view. I’m too a fan of Xu Kai and I haven’t missed any of his dramas since Yanxi. He has improved and I see his efforts too. Now, comparing his acting against some other stares that have graduated from say, Beijing Academic artists, then I could say Xu Kai might still be a step behind on certain scenes as Xu Kai hasnt been to the academics of acting. He started with modeling so for now he relies more on good directing. I’m looking forward to Wonderland Of Love because he’ll have the same director as when he did The Legends. It was his 2nd drama yet he acted the best in there. So I’m curious to see how well he’ll be there. I think and hopefully he will improve overtime. For instance in SEL, he did a superjob when he wanted to save his mom and his mom asked him to let her go to sacrifice herself so she can kill the demon. So he has certainly improved as an actor and in most parts he has been very good. I also want him to succeed so I do see your point. However, I also see most of the other fans here as he is in most of tithe times does a good job...just missing a few scenes here and there when some situations arise. For instance, in Kunlun Mountain, you can see the style of acting difference between Wang Yang (the head of the police) vs Xu Kai. Xu Kai needs to be more relaxed in tight situations...but I this is also subjective to one,s perceptions...so many of the fans here may disagree with us 😌

The funniest episode is the one from last week at the hospital, 07/12/23. This is with Xu Kai and Peng Peng, it is a must see TV if you want a hard laugh!

Xu Kai acts very well in this drama,...he's the main reason why I'm following this drama and all of his others. Too bad, you can't appreciate his talent (looks and acting).

I love the director of Wonderland of Love. It's Stephen Cheng, the same director of "The Legends" and the "Untamed". So, I'm hoping it'll be good; and then Paladin 6 is a re-write so it should also be good. Can't wait for those 2 to come out!

This drama has changed to be so much better; starting with episode 30, it's been so good!

I don’t understand why the negativity. It’s a drama and it’s all fictional. So any similarities happened, it is peruly coincidental. Had the plagiarism really happened, they would have sued already.

So Xu Kai seems to have gained quite a bit of popularity in his participation of the Variety Show (The Great Escape). He had overpassed Yang Mi in most of those times... @KM0704: I do give out a bad showing that I am his fan #1 at times...however, I'm just speaking out my mind. It's true, Xu Kai is not related to me at all...so I shouldn't be worrying about him in that regards...but I really truly want him to be the #1 actor in China as all of his fans would want so too (I would think). Hopefully, he will be one day soon...so we all can celebrate together :D

I like BL, because I think she is a good actress; she's also beautiful...but I haven't watched any of her dramas (not the sweet whatever, not this last one the devil thing), just a few maybe a couple of episodes of each of BL dramas to tell you the truth. Only the dramas she had with XuKai like AMA and the Legends I had watched them many times. The reason is because like I said in prior times, I'm fan #1 of Xu Kai. It doesn't make me happy to see Xu Kai not do well in his drams, but on the contrary, I pain for him! Xu Kai is my number #1 Male Star and have never missed any of his dramas since the Story of Yanxi. The Legends is very good if you watch the CD version that VIKI broadcast. The one that is on Youtube had bad editing. Anyway, I watched all of Xu Kai's dramas except for the "Untouchable Lovers". That one I just skipped to watch all the clips that drama had with Xu Kai since he wasn't the lead and had very little screen time. So, sometimes, actors might be seasonal, just like Chen Xiao who had aged so rapidly, I'm afraid that Xu Kai will do the same, because he doesn't take care of his appearance (so he said on one of those interviews). Because Xu Kai is not very eloquent nor a singer, that's why I'm concerned that once his physical falls out of fashion (per say, or people's taste, that it might be hard for him to continue on popular in his profession).

@zineaera: does Yu Zheng take advantage of Bai Lu like he does from Xu Kai? Bai Lu seems to be in ascending more and more. Had her drama with IQiyi not been interrupted, the one with her actual boyfriend, she would have been in another #1 drama. I think Yu Zheng doesn’t dare to do the same thing with Bai Lu because Bai Lu is very alerted. I’m afraid Xu Kai is too simple minded softly stupid that Yu Zheng is taking advantage of him. I am just afraid that in another year or near future, Xu Kais resources will dry out if his dramas don’t do well. He’s aging at an enormous pace, it pains me to say that because I am his fan #1 and wished to see him succeed but it looks so hard for him!

🤔I thought Xu Kai got more screen time than the other two. It might have been a certain episodes but I thought overall Xu Kai was the 2nd to Yang Mi in screen time.

Watch it as a comedy 😂

Agreed 1000% iQiyi knows how to do the best make up for Xu Kai.
