It is only around episode 11 that I even started formulating any theories. Usually, I manage to predict almost everything in advance. Here, there was very little I could predict. That is what I like most as I really get a high on suspense and thrill !

Yes, that is a great point. Moreover, the small details in the flashbacks are really critical to the story as well. The pacing is good and picks up even more around Episode 8 or so. It makes a nice change from slow pacing in many dramas. We are thankful for every minute in this one.

Yay! I lived Nine even though I was shocked by the ending. I loved doing all the theorizing and interpretations afterwards. This drama is similarly letting me run my imagination wild!

A big thanks for introducing me to such a variety of short films. These are really convenient for me to watch as they are on YouTube and often, there are links top other excellent shorts as well. Short films are either hit or miss, but that can be true for feature length movies as well. Hope to watch all of these soon.

Like many others in this comment forum, I too disagree with such sentences for victimless 'crimes'. Even if the situation is of extreme addiction, drug rehabilitation could be a solution, but jail time for something she was doing to herself in her own apartment does not seem right.

I think it has a good chance of making you really curious about what happened as happenings are quite unpredictable. This drama is really engaging and the acting is top notch. It does not have the usual cliches and tropes either. I feel that you should give it a shot.

I will wait for it to air a few more episodes before I start seeing this but it does seem to be a really good premise. I am rather worried about gritting my teeth too much for the kind of beginning. That's a really horrible backstory of the main protagonist.

I really enjoyed your story. I only recently learnt that distinction between idol and singers or actors :) I don't have your completionist zeal though and the only idol I follow a bit is IU because hers were some of the first Korean songs introduced to me. After your article I realize that I only follow actors among the Japanese.

Yeah, once I got the underlying meaning behind 'A Function', I realized that it was a pretty unique piece. It was like poetry, in that sense. It is rare to find a work with that much symbolic meaning, but so well-concealed.

I love the format of the article and the wide range of countries covered, including the West. I watched a bunch of the short film recommendations as soon as I read your article. My personal liking is more for those with a strong storyline, rather than gore or effects, but effects really help :)

I enjoyed your review. I finished watching this a month ago and I used to watch it for its fun vibes. This drama was so high on energy and the acting by the leads was really good. I liked the characters a lot and liked how they got some arcs. The workplace challenges were interesting and I learnt some things about retail marketing though it was a tad simplistic. I loved the intro song. I never forwarded it and still hear it in y head sometimes. P.S: Jamie looked so pretty in this and the kisses were hot.
