It's probably because if you check the producers there is a Ministry of tourisms influence somewhere there. It is 100% not a random choice to make a promotion of this certain Mountain resort and all the other places or things. Same with the topic of the solar power. It is a high budget modern romance novel adaptation...they needed good sponsors so why not the government ones.

Most of the time it is actually just a mandatory part of a drama. Many Cdramas are co-produced by a certain industry, government organisation or even ministry. That's why it is mandatory to have certain topics shown in a certain light & the financial backer has script rights and a strong influence over how certain things are shown. You can really see its influence in police/judical dramas or those build around a topic of specialised industries (see the "china can into cosmos" promotional episodes in "You are my Glory" or long expose on foreign policy in "When a Snail falls in Love").

I need the white hair moment to be well done. I am so excited about this drama after reading the novel

The story itself was too uniteresting to me but the romance part and love between ML & FL was one of the nicest ever in c-drama. I'm really impressed with the director and actors for choosing such a different unusual script and way of portray of characters. A good watch for those who like zombies and such as well for those who like unusual storytelling.

It's the korean classic of plot solving suicide ...

When they drove of the cliff to commit suicide in the last episode I was like..."Korean classic is back" ehhehe the best plot resolving in k-dramas the suicide that solves all the problems... I think I'm done.

The first two episodes were very cute. I like this drama as a fantasy or fanfiction premise. But I don't have the patience or spare time to watch how stupidly the heroes lie and what bad decisions they make. It's tiring that it is always the same old script with k-drama

I was laughing about calling this drama #harem but after ep 8... I'm just considering why does Korea make so many dramas with the psychopath main lead? And especially make it in a way that the audience is cheering for the evil hero...
Ep 8 was to real to ignore that I am laughing and getting entertain by watching a fictional person do evil things. It doesn't feel ok.

I am waiting to watch this with my husband. The whole thing. 86 episodes sound like a great long maraton for a few months during the darkness of winter

I rewatched for the ...7th time I think and enjoyed the story so much more again. I think because of the bad editing and constant time jumps the story is really hard to grasp in first watch. But with time I'm more and more in love with the story, characters, arks. I think I will just go a read the novel now so I can have the visuals from the show and better set story from the novel.

When c-drama masters make the ending bad...you can be sure it's going to be terrible & leave you whining in a corner for a few hours / days.
There are so many On-hold dramas in my watchlist that I know I will never off-hold cos I know they decline into awfully bad. The worst offender lately was Moonlit Reunion for me. So much potential...so much fun until episode 30...
Tbh I'm so used to dramas not holing up the same level until the end that I am surprised every time when a drama actually has a logical follow up and finish :P

But this is really not a good place for this comment. Cos this drama pulled it off till the end. It's one of the good ones :D

Hahah same I was stuck at 34 and only completed the drama today. I have a c-drama ending fobia :P Even if I read its HE you never know what type of Happy they mean.
The last scene made me take a deep nostalgic sigh. It is so good. Such an amazing drama!

Maybe it's a mistake in a translation. Because I agree it some inconsistency. I think it was mentioned in the first 2 eps a few times that she is not from a noble family. Which doesn't make sense looking at how their status is shown/military background/house.

I'm glad you like it. For me it's totally off and I am dropping it because it annoys me too much :( I'm happy we had so many good dramas lately and I have time to rewatch them now ;)

Omg did you start the drama? What a crushing disappointment this is :(((( it's rly quite bad.

As a fan of the novel I totally dislike it. It's hard not to compare it but even if I didn't read the novel I don't like how this is shot. It is a different story than the book and it's less serious. There is a lot of useless shots and dialogues. Also there is a lot of characters and they are not really well presented so it is hard to follow who is who and what is their character like.
I'm not a fan of how the FL motivations are presented and I know it's because they had to come up with an alternative story to her rebirth but it's not very logical. I'm really stuck at the family allowing her to marry the coffin. MAKES NO SENSE! I wish they left the wedding before he died in the storyline and also the fact that she was betrothed to him since young. Otherwise why does the oldest son not have a wife when all the other younger brothers do and even have kids. And FL's status as a commoner. Why couldn't they leave her as a noble woman anyway?? It would be easier for the marriage plot, the princess connection etc.
I also feel nothing about our ML. He is not interesting at all. He actually annoys me and I don't have a read on what the actor is trying to portray.

I'm disappointed :( I miss all the heavy dilemmas and scheming that make the novel so fun. Dropping after 9 eps without regrets.

The cast is so full of stars. Is it because of the drama being a popular one and everyone want's to play in it or was it shot before the secondary characters actors became A-listers?
