Mature love wins over misunderstandings.

I really enjoyed this romance story and the fact that it was so tightly bonded with workplace, money, success topics. It was also nice to see a rich x rich couple where they both had money and status from the beginning but it did not save them from having human lives, problems and experiences that helped them grow. Both main characters were really extraordinary, pretty people from the highest possible standing that met, fell in love and stayed true to themselves.

A really beautiful story that actually had a personal effect on me. The way the story shows growth and a difference between what a good relationship is versus bad was really well shown. The way the first man treated her, how she was authentically herself and later got scared and had to heal to come back to being her own loving self. It's very universal when you get a broken heart due to misunderstandings. This drama shows that mature love wins over misunderstandings and anxiety of unsure love.

I adored the way the ML was decisive and fought for the girl he wanted despite heavy burdens. Money, handsomeness and success are really nice but most women want the basics: a man who is 100% into them and will fight for the relationship because of his deep conviction. The ex - he didn't have that, he was unsure and made our FL really stressed out. It was clear for us watching but when you are in it...it's quite hard to notice. So here goes my personal advice: How to know you are in a good relationship? Trust your body. Trust your feelings. Trust your nervous system.

Absolutely lovely drama that gets 10/10 for me and has a huge potential for rewatches.

PS that last episode and the family scenes were so good! Especially the morning scene when they are taking their respective cars to their respective workplaces?! DREAMY!

Topic vs acting

The story itself was too uninteresting for me. I’m really not into zombies and blood, and the whole concept of fiends just wasn’t stimulating.
But the acting… oh, the acting! And the stunts, the stunt choreo, the lighting, the group fight scenes, the way the fighting was woven into the story and the characters’ development, all of that was incredibly well done.
The romance between the ML and FL was also one of the nicest I’ve seen in a C-drama. So sweet and real, never over the top, but leaving you with this little tingle of truth and tenderness.
Also, the costumes and music created such stunning visuals. Some shots of Dilraba are truly picture-worthy! Just beautiful. Really good photography overall.
I’m genuinely impressed with the director and actors for taking on such an unusual script and such a different way of portraying their characters.
A good watch for those who like zombies and similar themes, as well as for those who enjoy unconventional storytelling.

PS The first fight in the study between the ML and FL. I call it the “tango fight”. It is a must-watch for anyone who wants to see a sexy yet ferocious fight between two characters with huge chemistry. I’ve rewatched it at least ten times already, and I know it’ll stay in my memory alongside other unforgettable scenes from different media.

There is a lot of PDA in this series.

I liked the first half much more than the second. Maybe because of the game being part of the story in the beginning and slowly fading away in the second part. There is a lot of PDA in this series once the male characters get together and I wasn't really feeling all that sexy stuff, but it was well written, well played and well edited. Just not for me to have so much of hot, intense kisses.

Both lead characters are very likeable and highly inteligent, talented individuals. But I forgot many times that they are both very smart and cunning (as they show while playing the game). I think I had a little of mental overlap with "Shine on Me" that came out just before this drama. I was making mistakes in what I remembered about characters backgrounds and traits (especially in the 2nd part of the series where workplace played a crucial role). It was a very good drama but it was hard for it to challange "Shine on Me" in my heart when it came out so close.

It was really fun to watch all the characters. The second couple was very heartwarming. I have to be honest though I liked the 2nd ML much more than the main ML. Maybe because of all the shorts I watched in between or maybe because of the actor who made a great impression on me already in "The Legends". It was his face & the character. The way he faced an internal conflict, displayed depth of feelings. Everything that was happening to him and how he dealt with it was very human and I could understand him and feel grace.

This would get any sane doctor into jail in 5 seconds

Very nice drama. A little to over the top with the fancy solutions that would get any sane doctor into jail in 5 seconds but if you suspend reality for some scenes it is a good entertaining action drama. Full on fun for 8 episodes. I don't think anyone would be bored and the cases were all pretty nicely done.

The way he got hurt in the end...just goes to show how risky his way of being was. He was not even needed to carry that stretcher with 4 other 119 responders. He went there, put himself in danger and got hurt. And he was not needed there at all, he was just feeling indispensable - too much pride.

I would actually not want a doctor like this in my hospital either. He was to dangerous to himself, his team and even the patients. It's not actually good or possible to save everyone no matter the cost. Also Monetary cost is something that has to be considered but it is true that it should be on a higher level of decision making - policies, not hospitals themselves cutting corners for profit.

I'd never get on a work team like this either...collapse and death from overwork. That is actually one thing I disliked. The patos of the doctors job being tirelessly saving everyone around with no consideration for oneself. With the modern way the hospitals and doctors shifts are designed it does not leave space for life, human experiences, healthy family life and most importantly rest. I'm not a fan of media showcasing it as something to be proud of and promoted.

I liked it a lot but it is enough to watch it once not like with Hospital Playlist where characters were so likeable and multidimensional that you can rewatch again and again. Here only the main nurse really stole my heart with her authenticity and audacity :D She was awesome. Ofc other heroes were cool and likeable too but I'm going to forget about them tomorrow.

Appreciation for the message

Some spoilers ahead: I really enjoyed the drama, there was always the feeling of: I'm not sure who is who and why they do things exactly - wich honestly gave of real life experience and really brought home the ending. For me it was a hard and beautiful message. I truly felt katharsis watching the last episode and having the villainess realise there are no redoes but life goes on and and ther might be a chance for repentance and change. But consequences of are actions stay.

I enjoyed the actors the script and the tropes being turned on their heads. FL ending up with staff being one of them. The subtlety of the FL falling in love with the Lord. And the unexpectedness of him falling for her so fast and out of nowhere. Later on everything was explained by the ending. Truly a good drama with good idea and a true message.

As a fan of the novel I totally dislike it

As a fan of the novel I totally dislike it. It's hard not to compare it but even if I didn't read the novel I don't like how this is shot. It is a different story than the book and it's less serious. There is a lot of useless shots and dialogues. Also there is a lot of characters and they are not really well presented so it is hard to follow who is who and what is their character like.
I'm not a fan of how the FL motivations are presented and I know it's because they had to come up with an alternative story to her rebirth but it's not very logical. I'm really stuck at the family allowing her to marry the coffin. MAKES NO SENSE! I wish they left the wedding before he died in the storyline and also the fact that she was betrothed to him since young. Otherwise why does the oldest son not have a wife when all the other younger brothers do and even have kids. And FL's status as a commoner. Why couldn't they leave her as a noble woman anyway?? It would be easier for the marriage plot, the princess connection etc.
I also feel nothing about our ML. He is not interesting at all. He actually annoys me and I don't have a read on what the actor is trying to portray.

I'm disappointed :( I miss all the heavy dilemmas and scheming that make the novel so fun. Dropping after 9 eps without regrets.
