Anyone who can fill me in on the meaning behind Yook Dong Ju's glitchy hands / blinking in disappearance, in the car scene? Was it a mere trick to keep the viewership going / engaged in a quest of curiosity of what that event may lead to? if so, it worked... I expected till the last moment to see a connection to that isolated event and nothing was revealed apart from the telepathic communication
I don't recall word by word what was said, but the main idea that stayed with me was that REJ was mainly uncomfortable…
uncomfortable with her acting in a way that does not align with who she is/wanna be & how she feels... brought it up twice along the series, as I remember - that, although she knew he'd stop sending the letters the moment she told him about it, she still had the urge to check the mailbox at the campus daily. That made her feel uneasy & it's a state she did not want to go back to (and this comes from her not trusting herself not to exhibit the same behaviour again in what concerned him) - also a low-key reference to no one at the table being 100%. When explaining what 100% is all about trust is brought up along these lines. I've seen it as having nothing to do with KSH's feelings for her nor with her trust in him, but with her own development in the context of the struggles she was faced with in this relationship & her expectations of herself. That's how I've seen it & I must admit it's fun revisiting the ideas I was left with from this series w/o going back to the script. Thank you for raising your question at the start : )
okay... I need a lil help with interpretation what Eun Jung is saying in ep 8 when they're at the Cafe finally…
I don't recall word by word what was said, but the main idea that stayed with me was that REJ was mainly uncomfortable with her own apparent uncontrollable actions (i.e. running to check the mailbox daily) resulting from her love for KSH, and that is what ultimately made her choose to not get back together.
