lmaooo reborn rich really said imma become the highest rated cable drama but at what cost ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ anyway…
i havent even had time to watch the finals eps yet but i just know ppl are mad upset from looking at my twt timeline ........how bad is it do i need to prepare 💀
yep a very good slow burn! it's not too out there but there's just the right amount of it – and since it's done well it feels quite heavy within the narrative. the leads are more convincing than some romcoms couples out there & the drama doesn't rely on typical kdrama depictions of romance but crafts its own thing out of it. so the romance still satisfies if that's you're after mainly! ur gonna LOVE them trust me
this drama's so good ughhh why aren't more ppl watching ã… ã… ã… i like the ost/score a lot!
honestly no idea where the series could go from here/how it'll end.. it's super unpredictable. but i hope they flesh out ma pi's character more and he warms up to the team!! when he first appeared i didn't expect them to incoorperate his character like this but i'm really enjoying it. love how min ah's not even scared of him ðŸ˜
As someome who loves sci-fi I am so stoked to see more and more come out of Korea, they have a very different…
Haha nice to hear! Yeah i've heard of it, Netflix is also working on a TV series for that iirc, one of their new big projects to come out soon. The trailer for the movie definitely looks intriguing, I'll keep an eye out for it :)
Hi everyone! Haven't been able to keep up with dramas lately, so I'm back now. How high would you recommend this…
Upsides: -riveting revenge/reincarnation story with themes about wealth and poverty, how money, greed and succession drama influence the dynamic of powerful conglomerate families and what it takes to keep such a company at the top -incredibly well researched & close to real life (Soonyang = Samsung), you see how big conglomerates + major important economical events shape South Korea from the 80s to the 90s to the early 00s -Superb acting by the cast especially Song Joong Ki & Lee Sung Min; their grandson-grandfather interactions carry the show
Downsides: -If either makjang, business/finance, conglomerate politics or family intrigue aren't genres you're usually interested in, you might have difficulties following the plot or get a bit bored sometimes -Female lead (if you want to call her that) has very little screentime and a bland character. The romantic scenes stick out like a sore thumb inbetween the scheming of the charismatic family members
Why is this show so hard for me to understand lol I mean I understand the general info, but the details of their…
I agree with absolutely everything you said! I don't have much business/finance know-how to understand the dialogues completely, and if it wasn't for SJK and my friend who I'm watching the show with (and who is willing to explain shit to me every other minute haha), I wouldn't have gotten much to enjoy out of the drama either. The genres aren't exactly my favorites but the acting and overall revenge story have me pulling through to see what happens next.
A new era in Korean sience fiction films. Yay, I am sooo ready! Throw it at me!The trailer reminded me of the…
As someome who loves sci-fi I am so stoked to see more and more come out of Korea, they have a very different but refreshing approach. Have you seen "Alienoid" yet? it's a two parter of which the first one came out this year. It was one of the craziest movies i've seen in a long time, in a good way of course.
"she is an elite leader of the allied forces who won several operations in a civil war." FUCK YES to giving these kinds of roles to female actresses!!!!
ppl on this website are so funny 😠if i'm not into a popular airing drama, which happens often, i just mind my own business and watch something i like. i do not go into the comment section on a post ABOUT said drama being popular and start being a contrarian. no one is forcing anything on you, you're forcing yourself to come here and say that instead of wasting your energy on dramas you actually like. yeah freedom of speech and so on, but posting such comments will never not make you look like you're butthurt about a show you're not into being popular. and whatever backlash you get for that is on you. it hurts to hear it but it's true.
