rip to y'all i guess but this is actually so damn good???? as always thriller/suspense shows are much more enjoyable with a good dose of comedy in them for me

Caught up with the recent episodes and i'm excited for this week! The cat's out of the bag now and it'll be interesting to see Do Joon and his grandfather actually face off 🤩
I do gotta say, as someone who's usually not into all the business talk and plotting, it does get a tad bit tedious to keep up with everything since it's all so crucial to the revenge and once you don't pay attention to even the tiniest bit of dialogue, you'll have trouble understanding future plot points. I'm hangin' in there though thanks to SJK and all the charismatic acting from the cast. It's my first time following Lee Sung Min on screen and it's a blast watching him every time he's on screen.
I also wonder when Seo Min Young will become like.... a more important character? After all she's the FL, but feels more like a supporting character as of now; hell even Rachel has more screentime than her. Then again it seems like her character arc is inevitably tied to the romantic development with Do Joon, which so far seems to still be in its baby steps. And while their interactions are kinda cute at best, I'm yet to feel any tangible chemistry between them honestly (or am I just spoiled? lol). I wonder if its that or maybe I'm just not feeling SHB as actress in general, which I hope isn't the case because that'd make it harder for me to get through the show later😬 We're only 6 episodes in though so let's hope that changes when she's finally prosecutor and is more able to impact things.
Ugh, the comment section of MDL get worse day by day. A show is good or not depend on the writing, not whether…
Wether romance is your preferred or most disliked genre you still need to be able to discern that romance existing in itself doesn't make a show automatically bad or good, which is honestly basic understanding of media to me, but even that seems a high demand for MDL users.
