finally watched ep 8 and oh god oh man i love this show and its characters SO much. i love how even while the stakes and feelings are rising with each episode and we get to find out more and more about the characters' stories (i cannot wait to see more of chan hwi's!), the balance is so well kept and we have as much lighthearted romcom goodness as we do heartfelt drama. the writing is so sincere and it just keeps getting better and better and once again i had to sob my eyes out at the end of the episode, but it was still so wonderfully done πππ chae yong ju is a girl that is many of us, and personally i relate to her too well. what she taught minju, that he should first of all live for himself and protect himself and his feelings, is so hard to realize for herself. saying you're okay almost becomes a habit. what minju did in the end, was perfect and so in character - because we know he'd be hurting at all this just as much and especially because he knows she's back putting up her impenetrable wall. by now he knows that words alone are hardly able to make her tear it down, so he just cries for her, with her, so she knows it's okay to just let it all out. "he hurts for me more than i do for myself" she deserves all the stars, and she is so lucky that there is someone out there who would not hesistate to pick them out of the sky for her. π«
a shame that people didn't bother giving this show a chance because it's shaping up to become one of my absolute favorites!
People when a fl in kdrama doesn't wear that one white dress and coats:SHE IS SO CHILDISH AND ANNOYING! lol yall…
thank you π also @ those saying she's "childish" yeah that's literally the point. both leads are adults but become childish and bicker around each other because they've been frenemies their whole life and it's all they know. and this is a romcom, so ofc their relationship will be silly and lighthearted. just because you're suddenly an adult doesn't mean your personality, esp. around people you've literally known your whole life, changes into serious and uptight. god some people are just weird
