already started my rewatch to prepare for the sbs drama awards. both psh & kjy are attending and i NEED them to bag at least one or two awards ðŸ˜ðŸ¤ž
Honestly, with MDL, I gotta wonder if we’re all even watching the same drama. This 8-episode gem was so good—great…
something i've learned over the years is to never trust any opinions on this website, ever. always form your own ones. lots of people here just mindlessly consume media without a single sliver of introspection and struggle with any type of narrative that is either complex, unconventional or subverts expectations. and sadly this is getting more and more common these days 😪
the man who looks as if frozen and the dog who keeps barking at him, i think it was his dog. maybe they both froze to death, but the man didnt quite die yet and is still on the boarder between life and death. his dog is giving him the will to live, by trying to lead him to the light shop. just like hyunjus mother keeps making her buy light bulbs over and over again.
yeah that's sadly how it works. the streaming landscape is highly competitive and results in consumers getting left behind because there's no way someone can afford all of them. i encourage you to seek other sources instead of missing out on great dramas solely because of streaming services' restrictions. kisskh.co and goplay.su are some websites that carry most dramas and are a good alternative, and don't worry the fbi won't get you
Director Kim Heewon shares how Writer Kang Full wrote the episodes of #LightShop with a different genre each instead…
i love that so much!!! i also read that initially, when the drama had a different director, it was supposed to be a pure thriller. kang full however always wanted this to be a human drama at its core. i'm glad that he stuck to his guns and just did what he wanted to do, because this way we got a much more nuanced and beautifully told story
god i was sobbing during some moments in 5 & 6... KANG FULL YOU GENIUS! also incredible directing, kim hee won made sure to leave an impression for his first project
wow, turns out the judge from hell was the winner of a 2017 sbs script writing contest!!! i knew the writer was somehow special despite being a rookie, she was already an award-winning writer 😠7 years is a long time, but the message still being so very relevant is a sad testament to how little change there has been within the judiciary system. however i'm so happy for her that 7 years later her wonderful script finally saw the light of day and will be definitely keeping an eye out for her future works (or a s2!!) 💜
